Parts of the hotel lobby were under renovation but the facility itself was still very clean. Staff was helpful in reminding me to request for a partial refund as I had checked out early due to change in schedule.

I was very satisfied with my stay at Jinyuan this time. The Jinyuan dinner buffet on the second floor is also a well-established Fuzhou buffet with a high cost-performance ratio. The environment and service are very satisfactory. The dishes are very rich, with many signature dishes, such as lamb shanks, Buddha jumps over the wall, papaya snow swallow, etc. Haagen-Dazs is also available, and the dining experience is very good.

I stayed at the Century Jinyuan Hotel in Fuzhou again. I liked the breakfast on the second floor. The breakfast provided some local specialties, such as pot-side soup, fried dough sticks, triangle cake, Fuzhou Laohua, and Fuzhou fish balls and meat swallows. What was new was that there were also noodles and flat meat for breakfast. A ray of morning sunshine shone through the glass onto the dining table. I enjoyed the meal in an elegant environment. The hot spring water in the room is very fast. It is the fastest hot spring hotel I have ever stayed in.
As for what needs to be improved, the pillows look thick, but they collapse as soon as you sleep on them. All four pillows are the same. When checking out, the staff said that there are actually thicker pillows, but from personal experience, usually two people in a hotel room have two different sets of pillows. It is rare to see four pillows like this one that fall flat as soon as you sleep on them.

The hardware is good. It is an old five-star hotel, but it doesn't feel old. It is still good. The room is big, the sofa, desk, and hot spring bathtub are all good. But the service level feels regressed. There was only one person at the front desk when I checked in, and I was given a room that was not tidied (although I called to change it later, it was not good). The doorman had no expression when I got off the car.
