Booked this hotel because they had one of the nicest looking pools online. Was disappointed to find the pool drained on arrival. Apparently it's "off season" although it was nearly 40 degrees in the daytime (Golden Week).
Despite this setback, it was an enjoyable place to stay. The location wasn't bad for getting in and around the city (a short Didi ride), the staff was professional and friendly, and the room was well maintained and comfortable.
Better call to see if their pool is open before you book, or if it's currently a hole in the ground surrounded by palm trees.
