Amper Art Hotel

The hotel was a short walk to the train station, and was remarkably quiet when trains went past the hotel. The staff was very nice and helpful. There were several grocery stores near the hotel.

This is a very modern hotel and quite new. The plus points are that it has great underground parking and is very near to the railway station for travel into Munich. The bed was comfortable and the shower excellent. This is quite a spartan hotel. Nowhere to sit in the room except one small chair. Storage minimal. No water provided or a fridge, unusual these days. Breakfast was good but a small dining room, staff at breakfast were very helpful. The corridors had a strange rather unpleasant smell, possibly stale air freshener. It is soulless. The air conditioning which works well and you need this as if you leave the window open you can hear the trains, not so good late at night or early morning. It is in a residential area which has its issues. Only one bar/restaurant nearby. Ok for a business hotel. The pictures of the hotel do reflect the actual reality. There is certainly no grass nearby and no space to relax either indoors or outside. Rather disappointing, we had booked 3 nights but left after 2.

Very clean and minimal, excellent location next to train station and just 30 min. from city. Would highly recommend!
