This is one of those gems of a hotel that is even better than it seems when you book it. We had a charming corner room with a large bathroom. Parking was ample and easy. The building is surrounded by a lovely garden area with lots of outdoor seating that we wished we had had more time to use. There is storage for bikes etc. it was clean, they were very friendly, and breakfast was excellent. It was so quiet that we thought we were the only ones there and then realized from the breakfast room that the hotel must have been full or close to it. All and all I highly recommend this unicorn of a hotel.

The rooms are great, Diane provides excellent customer service, far beyond just checking people in. She provides information with a smile, gives helpful suggestions and made our stay most enjoyable. Would stay here again.

Eine in den Allgemeinbereichen liebevoll restaurierte denkmalgeschützte Immobilie (ehemalige Fabrikantenvilla) in toller und sehr ruhiger Lage. Dennoch zentral und damit ist die gesamte Stadt Fürstenberg zu Fuß gut erreichbar. Sehr netter, persönlicher Service durch den Betreiber und ein absolut ausreichendes Frühstück sowie Sauna und kleiner Fitnessraum. Klingt und ist auch alles wirklich super. Der fehlende Punkt zu einer ausgezeichneten Bewertung daher, weil das Zimmer leider von der Einrichtung gegenüber dem tollen Treppenhaus und der top gepflegten Außenanlage dann leider doch zu deutlich abfällt und demgegenüber wirklich lieblos und uninspiriert daherkommt. Wohlgemerkt, es ist alles gepflegt und sauber, aber halt Standard-Hotelmöbel statt individuellem Charme - wirklich schade, vor allem wenn man überlegt, was für ein Schmuckstück sich aus diesem Rohdiamanten mit Ideen bei der Zimmergestaltung machen ließe und wie leicht und ohne großen wirtschaftlichen Aufwand ein noch viel tolleres Hotelprodukt bei Umsetzung dieser Ideen entstünde.
