Unique hotel, which is at the same time cozy and stylish. The area is beautiful and you can walk/run/bicycle f. ex. by a lake. You also might see some animals (horses, sheeps) near by. The room was renovated and we liked especially the lightning. The bed lines were wonderfully spongy. There is some nice restaurants at walking distance, and we wanted to walk around so we did not buy a dinner at the hotel. The breakfast was included and it was delicious and nice.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Reception competent and helpful. The staff at breakfast received a very friendly and was extremely helpful. As we were first at breakfast and were just opened, we immediately got coffee at the table and it was wondered if everything was good. Breakfast buffet was impressively good and very rich.

Selten fiel mir eine Bewertung so schwer. Zunächst einmal: Es handelt sich um ein wunderschönes Haus in ruhiger, idyllischer Lage. 2020 fand ein Inhaberwechsel statt und Ende diesen Jahres scheidet das Haus aus der Romantikgruppe aus. Das Haus ist also im Umbruch und in der Tat wird auch noch kräftig umgebaut. So erhielten wir zunächst ein Zimmer, wo unmittelbar daneben Bauarbeiten stattfanden, die uns morgens recht unsanft weckten. Der kompetente Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption reagierte prompt und ermöglichte sofort einen Wechsel. Aber ehrlich gesagt, dürften die Zimmer in unmittelbarer Nähe der Bauarbeiten überhaupt nicht belegt werden. Beide Zimmer geräumig und schön, dem Stil des Hauses entsprechend. Das Schwimmbad wegen eines technischen Defekts geschlossen. Saunabereich sehr ansprechend, eine finnische Sauna, eine Biosauna und ein Tipidarium ( letzteres nicht genutzt), direkter Zugang in den ansprechenden Außenbereich. Überhaupt der Außenbereich: Sehr schön, Terrasse und diverse Sitzmöglichkeiten. Restaurant sehr geschmackvoll. Wir waren schon verwundert, auf der Website keine aktuelle Speisekarte zu finden, diese gestaltete sich dann auch sehr übersichtlich! ( Ich schätze selbstverständlich kleinere Speisekarten,aber ein wenig mehr Auswahl wäre in einem Haus dieser Kategorie zu erwarten). Schnitzel Wiener Art und Burger erwartet man nicht zwingend in einem Haus dieser Kategorie, außerdem auf der Karte Salat mit unterschiedlichen Beigaben, Zander, Schweinebäckchen, Rumpsteak, Maishähnchen. Vorspeisen: Rinderconsomee und Beef tartare. Dessert: Creme brullee und Eis. Daneben täglich zwei Empfehlungen plus einer Vorspeise und einen Dessert, dies ist auch das Menü im Rahmen der Halbpension. Vorweg jeweils Brot mit Butter und einem Dip sowie ein kleines Amuse geule. Grundsätzlich war das Essen in Ordnung und schmackhaft. Eine Ausnahme am ersten Abend das Lammkarree, welches sehr fett war. Auf einen entsprechenden Hinweis kam allerdings keine Reaktion. Hervorragend dann wiederum das Rinderfilet von der Tagesempfehlung. Service im Restaurant meist gut, teils sogar sehr gut, kleinere Patzer kamen allerdings auch vor. Bar leider an allen Abenden geschlossen. Das Frühstück erfüllt nicht ganz die Erwartungen, die man an ein solches Haus stellt, absolutes No-Go: Fruchtfliegen auf den Quarkspeisen. Von meinem Mann bereits am einem Tag darauf hingewiesen, hatte sich auch am Folgetag nichts geändert. Das geht gar nicht! Die Brotauswahl sehr übersichtlich, zwei Sorten Brötchen und eine Sorte Brot, Toast . Im übrigen dem heutigen Standart entsprechend, Rührei, gekochtes Ei, Würstchen, Speck, Lachs, Wurst, Käse, süßes. Hervorzuheben auch das Vorhandensein von Rädern. So gebe ich dem Haus dann vier Punkte,vor allem wegen der Lage und des schönen Ambientes.
