Due to my own mistake (double-booked vs. another property) I paid for but ultimately did not use four nights here. I’m almost glad I double-booked, as I wouldn’t have wanted to stay anyway - the room was quite horrid, stuck at the top of a narrow staircase, small and dark with fusty pink décor and not-very-appealing bathroom, no view. The staff were unwelcoming with limited English. A large dining patio looks out on a spectacular view but is itself rather charmless. There is limited parking adjacent. The staff were largely unsympathetic to my plight (though to be fair they were within their rights). I would not stay here.

To be clear, I did not actually stay here, though due to my own mistake (double-booked vs. another property) I did pay for four nights and check in (though promptly checked out), hence I feel qualified to comment. In short – I’m almost glad I double-booked, as I would not have wanted to stay here. The room was quite horrid, stuck at the top of a narrow staircase, small and dark with fusty pink décor and not-very-appealing bathroom, no view. After some persuasion the owner did provide a small (~10%) refund, which was appreciated, but it was about the only thing I did appreciate about this place. There are nicer options nearby.

We have searched through the Internet for a lower priced bed and breakfast in a less touristic site at the Amalfi Coast and have found Le Marelle. Very good breakfast with juices, fresh Italian bread and I will never forget the incredible tasty cappuccino that the owner served. He was even so kind to offer a second one. I will also never forget the beautiful view on the Amalfi Coast during breakfast on the very nice terrace outside. Good rooms, we had a double room with a good bathroom. Le Marelle is exactly in between Amalfi/Ravello and Positano, which are one of the most famous and beautiful places to visit. Especially Ravello is amazing, visit the little streets and incredible views of the parks (Rufolo & Cimbrone). We have also walked in the Nature Reserve just outside Amalfi. From there you can walk passing lemon fields, waterfalls, old metal factory's and if you want even to Pontone/Scala/Ravello. Ask the tourist office in Amalfi for a map. There should also be a nice blue grot close to Praiano (and therefore close to the B&B) we were sorry to not visit this grot, because we did not have time. But it is definitely worth ask the tourist office about it. We did not know anything about the coast so we did not expect the B&B to be sited at 480 m height and therefore very far from the sea (5000 steps down) if you don't have a car. But there were a lot of busses passing right in front of Le Marelle, so you can easily reach Amalfi and very nice beaches as well. You can also buy the bus tickets at the B&B. It is definitely a place that for it's price deserves more than 5 stars with it's amazing view, breakfast and kindness of the owners.

We had a wonderful stay at Le Marelle in Furore Italy. The accommodation was amazing. Beautiful views of the Amalfi coast. The family establishment was very personal and welcoming. We were served a great breakfast every day. I highly recommend Le Marelle to travelers on the Amalfi coast.

I totally recommend it! The owners were super nice to us, as we switched places last minute and they were welcoming and helpful. Clean and cosy room, and the mattress was perfect. Breakfast was great as they also had quite a few things to choose from and then there is the spectacular view!

We spent a lovely holiday at Le Marelle. The hotel is located in an enchanting spot on the Amalfi Coast with a spectacular view overlooking the sea and Praiano. The breakfasts and dinners served on the splendid terrace were excellent. The hotel is family run, everyone is very kind and ready to provide useful advice for the holiday; thanks also to the little ones of the family who pleasantly entertained us with their friendliness. A place we would definitely return to...

We spent two nights in the B&B Le Marelle with our four children in April. Very friendly owners, nice, simple, clean double rooms with a beautiful sea view, the other rooms have access to the breakfast terrace. When the weather is nice, you can have breakfast outside. Breathtakingly beautiful view, very good breakfast of cappuccino, fruit juice, brioche, rolls, Kellogs... everything was delicious. It is a bit out of the way but very quiet. About 20-25 minutes by car from Amalfi. We appreciated the location after seeing the hustle and bustle on the coast. For an extra charge of 20 euros you can have dinner in the B&B if you book in advance, but we didn't take advantage of it and ate outside.
