Incredible stay, and the highlight of our Italy trip. This family-run agriturismo is the real deal, and a stunning place to stay. Also, my new hero is Rosa, the woman who basically runs Serafina. She speaks 4 languages, does all the (mind-blowingly good) cooking, baking, agriculture/farming, terrace building, wine, olive oil & cheese making, animal caretaking, cleaning of the guest rooms and probably 5000 other unacknowledged tasks. Her demeanor is efficient and profoundly helpful, direct and focused. She told us that Agriturismos have changed in Italy now, many are more like hotels-- Serafina is one of the few left still growing their food year round, making wine, honey, olive oil, cheese, raising every animal that they serve-- everything Organic to the max (when we arrived, I asked if I could compost an old salad and she asked me if it was organic or not). They are a sweet 4 person family - doing it all themselves! And it's just stunningly beautiful and at the foot of the Path of Gods (which was how I thankfully discovered it). The atmosphere is so peaceful, tranquil and family friendly. We hope to return!

I took a walk from our villa to the end of the dirt road where I met up with a farmer who didn’t seem too pleased I had walked onto his land. It was totally my fault as I didn’t realize that the roadway had turned to private. Two days later, nestled at the beginning of that dirt road, we were sitting at the table at Dominique’s restaurant, Serafina, drinking wine and eating course after course of food prepared by his daughter Rosa. We had spent 3 days in Rome and another 4 nights in Furore. We ate at a number of different restaurants from Roma to Amalfi to Positano and everywhere in between. None or them compared to the authenticity of true local Italian food lien Serafina did. Fresh from the garden, vineyard, and farm, nothing disappointed. The setting??? Amazing! The food ??? Even better. Do not, and I mean do not miss this opportunity. You will have failed your trip to the Amalfi Coast if you do not partake in this venture.

We just spent three nights at this remarkable place. We cannot recommend it more! It’s a real working farm and the family that runs it are the most welcoming hosts imaginable. The rooms are spotless and comfortable, but the best thing is the dinner. The food is delicious and the many courses just keep coming. Those who love and can tolerate all foods will love it the most. And lots of wine made by the owners. Need more persuading? It’s a terrific deal. Go!

We traveled 10 days from naples to Salerno and this stop was by far our favourite. Domenic, Rosa und Josephine are the definition of welcoming hosts and see all guests as parting the family. Throughout our stay they were always there for us, showed us passionately the inner workings of their agriturismo sad gave their best to make this experience and our day trips as exciting as possible. When we arrived we planned to only dine with them for our first evening. However, Rosas cooking turned out to be so exceptionally good and we were able to taste that all used ingredients were harvested and grown at the Agriturismo and tasted so special that we decided to come back each evening and the diners became the highlights of our days. The farm is beautifully situated in the hills above praiano. You can start your hike right from the door step to degli die, fiordo die furore or Pariano and the beach. The bus stops comfortably close in furore. We were often picked or dropped of at the bus stop by Dominic. The rooms are clean and comfy. We just felt right at Home. Leaving this place was the hardest part and we really hope to be back one day

The BEST culinary experience you will have on the Amalfi Coast! This farm-to-table delight is serene, exquisite and delicious. Rosa and her father welcome you into their home and share their family wonders in food. Don’t miss this amazing and unique adventure.

Staying at Serafina was one of the highlights of our trip to Italy! Not only do the family work unbelievably hard on their incredible farm, they also go above and beyond to welcome guests and ensure that each and every one has a very special experience. Rosa was always on hand to answer any questions we had and as for the meals - oh my goodness!! So many delicious courses using food produced on the land. Domenico's presence during meals just added to our enjoyment and the wine and limoncello didn't seem to stop flowing! The atmosphere in the restaurant was so special and we had some wonderful times chatting to other guests. Our room was comfortable and the views absolutely stunning! Such a peaceful place to come back to at the end of the day. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

As a young couple on a tour of Italy, we stayed with Domenico and his family for almost a week. We received a very warm welcome and as soon as we walked into the agriturismo, Rosa handed us some leaves that she plucked from a bush in passing "rub them between your fingers and smell them! We'll put them in the laundry or rub them in the evening because of it the mosquitoes with it". A wonderful lemony scent! This was symbolic for the entire stay. Full of pride in their own soil and their own products, with deep roots in nature, this small, incredibly friendly and warm family runs their agriturismo. Everything was very clean and well maintained but still authentic and not touristy. The dinner is unbelievably sumptuous and incredibly delicious! Wine is added in carafes without asking, and every ingredient and processing step is explained in detail and proudly. They were always at our side with tips and hints and made our stay at the Costiera amalfitana a unique experience. Thank you very much and we hope to be our guests again as soon as possible!
