Hotels near JR Yamabe Station, Furano

I enjoyed my stay at La Vista Furano which provided good service, very decent room, complimentary and nice onsen (though not genuine hot spring water), free late night ramen, free car park, etc. we chose the eco package (no cleaning service) and it was a short stay of 3 nights only. They provided new towels every day as long as we put the used towels outside of the room at specific time every day. The only thing was they didn’t replenish the rubbish bin bag after we put the rubbish outside the room. They also didn’t replenish the bottled water daily. Hope that can be improved.

Stayed 2 nights. Corner room has a weird configurations. Room door opens into a long hallway facing the bathroom with a sink in the hallway and the bedroom off to the side via a door. The hotel is showing age but decently maintained as much as possible. The hardware seemed typical old style Japanese hotel. We had two rooms and somehow one room gets toiletry packs with coffee and another didn’t consistently. Breakfast and dinner buffet had decent spreads but nothing impressionable. No porter service was provided.

The hotel has its own red and white wine for welcome drink The room is very comfortable and comes with multiple charging cables There are many choices for breakfast, including a hot spring area and laundry room The only drawback is that it takes 2-3 minutes to walk to the parking lot.

Pros - 1) Convenient location close to many good eateries (Kumagera, Masaya, Sennari etc), a drugmart and a supermarket. 2) Free parking (30 lots). 3) Our room (777 - where they previously filmed a Korean drama) was spacious, clean and had a great view of the surrounding mountains. 4) Service was great even though English is a tad limited. Cons - 1) TV channels are predominantly in Japanese save for BBC and 1 Chinese channel.

There are electric kettles, electric rice cookers, microwave ovens, pots, tableware, trash cans that need to be sorted, and garbage is collected after 10 o'clock every day The washing machine is a combination of washing and drying, but it takes 4 hours to wash and dry. The clothes can be hung in the area above the washing machine and dry in one night. There is washing powder under the sink, which is very convenient The bathroom is large, the door can be closed, but there is no place to put clothes

The cheese fondue for dinner, the husband of the first experience, seemed to have enjoyed it. It was sunny, so I enjoyed the moon at the window seat. I think that I can eat bread, warm vegetables, and the remaining cheese with pasta, and the food loss correspondence is good. It was delicious even if the petit tomatoes in the salad bar corner were entangled with cheese. After eating pasta, I put rice and salt pepper and enjoyed the risotto. This is a private accommodation. It consists of a tatami room, an in-room, a living room and kitchen, and a bathroom (a separate bath and toilet room) yard. The interior is very large with a 30-pyeong feel, and a sliding door is installed for each space. There's a bathtub and a washing machine, and there's tableware, cooking tools, and air conditioning. Check-in arrives before 22 o'clock on the day and calls the host, and you will drive close to you within 5 minutes and check in in the living room. It seems that the couple manages it, and they speak very basic English, so it would be nice to memorize the Japanese that arrived by phone. Shampoo, body wash, towels, etc. are provided in the room as a basic, and if you need toothbrushes and toothpaste, you can ask for them. There is no WiFi, because it is in the countryside, the eggs (WiFi lunch boxes) prepared are also weak, but even if you go out a little on the main road, the radio will be very good, so there is no difficulty in operating the navigation system. Very quiet, clean and comfortable, very satisfied! Ninggu terrace, wind garden, Morinotoke cafe are very close. If you live here, you must go! Highly recommended!

The experience has plummeted! Although the facilities are new and relatively clean in a newly opened hotel, the service is very unsystematic and unprofessional. We asked about the Bus Schedule for going directly to the airport for the next day. After giving us the bus schedule, the person told us to just go to a nearby waiting point and wait. However, I was told by another front desk that day that I had to make a reservation before a driver would stop and check my name. When we went back to press for accountability, the Nozo hotel staff just tried to shirk each other and did not provide solutions or help. Very affected travel plans! The last word is that the food in the hotel restaurant is too Westernized, and it instantly feels like European and American food...

Fairly new hotel in Furano. It has good sized rooms, pretty quiet and good beds. Good shower, coffee all day, very clean . Breakfast was satisfactory but there is NO bread, you can bake a bun, but with one small toaster you can wait awhile. The food is not hot. Good COVID safety measures are in place. There is no hanging hooks anywhere in room you can’t hang up a coat ( such a simple thing to fix. ) Bedside table is very tiny. English is not well spoken and staff mainly use a translation app. For a couple of days we had a competent English speaker. English is not necessary but was advertised as English speaking staff. Restaurant, well it doesn’t really exist, open only on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. You have to book in the day before, we tried to book in 8.00 AM FOR THAT EVENING, they had to ring chef and ask if that was ok? So if you arrive on a Friday you can’t get a meal till Saturday night. No wonder there was only 4 people in restaurant, however the meal was very good. We arrived at restaurant early intending to have a drink before the meal, but were advised to come back at correct time. There is only one vending machine which only sells drinks. There is no where to order a snack, soup etc. Laundry was good. The bus from the airport does not stop at the hotel. The footpaths had not been cleared and it was very slippery, icy and dangerous, on top of that the entrance to hotel had not been cleared.- they have some very fancy clearing equipment in the lobby. The staff were polite but not helpful couldn’t offer any suggestion for a meal that was close by, I think that overall you could find a better place to stay, with a shuttle service, bus drop off and cafe restaurant that is open 7 days
