The hotel has direct access to the beach and plenty of parking spaces, that's the only positive thing I can say about it, the hotel is very old and the rooms look accordingly, no air conditioning and no cell phone reception in the room. It's a family hotel, so I would advise against it for young people/people who don't want to have children around them. The food is really not tasty and looks very unappetizing. All in all, you get exactly what you paid for. I wouldn't recommend the hotel.

Our stay at the Hotel Delfin Plava Laguna in Poreč was an absolute disaster. From the moment we arrived, it was clear this place was a nightmare. We found a huge insect in our room. The room was filthy, tiny, and located in the basement. Despite booking as a couple, we were given two single beds – absolutely ridiculous! The shower was so small you could barely move, and the water temperature alternated between scorching hot and freezing cold because something was obviously broken. The hallway reeked, and there were clumps of hair everywhere. I've never seen anything so disgusting. The staff was unfriendly and completely unprofessional. When we complained about the insects and the appalling conditions and asked for a room upgrade, willing to pay for it, they bluntly told us we'd have to book an additional room. No accommodation, no consideration – just a blatant money grab! The food was the absolute worst part. We got food poisoning from it. The pool area was chaotic and unhygienic – everyone did whatever they wanted, and no one seemed to care. It was downright revolting. To top it all off, the toilets only had single-ply toilet paper. I've never encountered such a thing. It's a disgrace for any hotel that claims to be reputable. Overall, our stay at the Hotel Delfin Plava Laguna in Poreč was an outrage. I strongly advise everyone to avoid this place at all costs.

Hotel location is great, but do not stay here. Our hotel room had a sewage odor that was acknowledged by the hotel front desk manager. She came to the room twice and her words were “the smell is terrible.” They said the hotel had periodic issues with sewer gas. The staff come in twice to try and resolve the issue but couldn’t. It was a horrible smell and unhealthy. We stayed two nites and checked out for our final nite and moved to the Maistra Grand Park Hotel. As a result our room rate doubled for the one night. (And the Grand Park Hotel was amazing.) To add insult to injury, the Hotel Manager refused to give us credit for the one evening we checked out early. This was especially insulting since the staff acknowledged the hotel has a history with this problem. They should fix the problem and not rent the rooms until is is resolved. Don’t stay here, there are plenty of good choices in Rouvinj.

Just awful. When you enter the hotel, you get the feeling you arrived in a sanatorium or a comunist era retirement home. We tried to check-in and the lady at the reception told is that if we waited 30 mins, she would have a room with one double bed for us. After halfanhour, we talked to another receptionist who said the room we have booked, has no option of double bed and we will have two single beds (waiting just became totally pointless). Our room was at the ground floor. Or let me correct - half BELOW THE GROUND FLOOR. No balcony, no aircondition. When arrived to this floor lever, a stench of mold hit our noses. Room size made it hard for 2 adults to move without bumping into each other. Humidity and heat was impossible to get rid off as even when you open the window - there is ground outside reaching until half of it. Beds that remember Yugoslavia for sure. There was NO TOILET PAPER in the room, we had to ask for it in the reception. Breakfast was not as bad as the rest honestly, but imagine THOUSANDS of people fighting for one basket of pastries. Most of products were savoury, only once in a while a basket of croissants was brought, that was emptied in less than 30 seconds. All of this, for modest 120€ a night.

Stayed here for 9 nights with my two children age 10 and 14. I was very aware of small rooms and no air con but these really are so very small and an absolute sauna for 3 people to comfortably live in! No fans provided. Everyone slept with balcony doors open although never any breeze. Clean towels every day however they make your beds giving the impression they are changing sheets but they do not!! I know this as kids spilt drink on both their beds and cleaners just kept flipping sheets when we left them visible in mornings to change them. The staff were by no means hospitable towards us English and I’m pretty sure we were only English people for miles and miles! This area is swamped by Germans who are incredibly rude and do not stop staring you out all day long absolute misery they are! However they seemed to get great treatment from the bar staff at hotel and on pretty much every occasion I got ignored when wanting to order a drink at pool bar when it was table service at night .. they also seem to change prices on drinks too it just all felt like they were trying mug me off! When I tried to question this they were just so rude so needless to say we didn’t spend any more time at hotel day or night! The barman in cocktail bar upstairs is more happy to serve you but that’s if you want to sit inside as it’s a bit far from pool etc to keep coming and going. The swimming pool is way too salty it burns your eyes! Dirty rim around whole pool and only 50 odd sunbeds for a hotel that has 700 plus rooms it’s nuts! Obviously the Germans claimed all them at 4am lol. Entertainment seemed to be just same band every night much louder than needed too! Really quite boring and not my cup of tea. Seagulls!! Wow never heard such a racket!! They wake you up crack of dawn then soon after it seems the whole hotel decides to do the same!! If you want a lay in this isn’t the place for you! We were up and eating breakfast by 8.30am which can’t say has ever happened on holiday before. Checking out I didn’t get a thanks for staying how was your stay all them things nothing just thanks goodbye! Checking in was same too well got greeted with ‘check in isn’t until 2pm’ no welcome nothing and had to ask if anywhere to store cases until then. Positives has to be location on the beach front, although ten flights stairs back up to room, food is alright with plenty choice but repetitive. Best person in that hotel who always had a smile and provided me with much needed paracetamol was Carla the pretty red haired lady on reception :) No pharmacy for 3 miles so take a good supply of tablets!! Don’t sell them in shops. Little kids pool area and splash park looked good sure little ones love that! Water much better there not way too salty like main pool. Stunning area, amazing sunsets shame people let it down. Porec is beautiful and bit more friendly but pretty pricey for food etc. Oh and watch out for jellyfish!! Put the kids off and me as I got stung. See some much mo

The hotel only has 2 stars and it shows. The rooms are very small, there is no air conditioning... but if you are looking for a cheap, clean and well-located hotel, this is the right place for you! The food was surprisingly good, both dinner and breakfast! The pool and the beach are perfect! I would love to come back!

Terrible hotel, it feels like entering a hospital complete with a waiting room, a corridor with ugly and dirty carpet. Upon arriving in the room, you could smell a terrible smell coming from a garbage closet near the room (unhygienic). The small room had no terrace or air conditioning. furnished in a good way, no TV, deodorant was sprayed so as not to smell the smell, probably moldy, uncomfortable beds, definitely dirty, the food was poor and always the same, the old bread was dirty, even the restaurant, the chairs were all stained, people touched the croissants with their hands because they were missing the tongs never a ready table the customers who clear the table and set the table themselves no hygiene rules the swimming pool with salt water but little hygiene even there when going out it seems to be a bit greasy just look at the pool edge black with dirt very kind the lady at the restaurant reception
