Well this is a beautiful Apartment/Hotel offering fabulous accommodation. We stayed in 503 for 2 weeks in a 1 bedroom apartment consisting of a kitchen and dining area and living room. The kitchen was well equipped so if you’ve had enough going out you could cook a few simple meals in. The pool area is so relaxing 😎 just catching the rays from the sun and reading a book while having a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. They do superb food in the restaurant or you can have it on the roof terrace the choice is yours. The staff from the reception team to the bar staff and the wonderful ladies that cleaned our room every single day were truly amazing and friendly which made our holiday. We will be back to Funchal and we will be back to The Three House for sure. They have music 🎵 on 4 days a week which was fabulous listening to Phill.me and his vinyls (such pure organic) music 🙌 thank you. Right in the heart of Funchal ❤️

I wrote a negative review of my stay here and it was deleted by the hotel!!! I wondered after my stay how it was possible that this hotel was on tripadvisor's top 10 and now I know! they delete negative reviews! what a complete sham you should be ashamed of yourselves

Highly disappointing and noisy location. They want to sell a lifestyle, but actually they're selling you fumes from the cars constantly passing through the extremely busy road right next to the hotel. Not a place fit for a relaxing holiday.

This boutique hotel was undoubtedly one of the best on the island. Don’t search any further and book early. No cons… only pros! Special privileged area on the rooftop for hotel guests to enjoy the 360 view of the fireworks, fresh croissants delivered daily to your room, large and small Smeg appliances, delicious food/drinks on the rooftop bar, beautifully and well appointed and spacious suite rooms. All of this made for the best New Year’s holiday. In addition, the customer service is unparalleled… from the front desk team, the housekeeping team, and the food/beverage team everyone went above and beyond!

Very central location by the market and entrance to old town. You can walk to everywhere in Funchal. However, the rooms with odd numbers will get a lot of noice from the very busy road below. Clean and functional. All rooms are on the fifth floor. Restaurant on the third floor can also be recommended with nice space both inside and outside.

Located in a classic art deco building in downtown Funchal, the Three House Hotel was an ideal combination of comfort, convenience and spacious accommodations. We spent two weeks at the Three House Hotel and had a wonderful stay. The staff and housekeeping team were professional and very friendly. From the rooftop pool area we had a great view of the harbor and the hotel itself was very convenient to old town Funchal where there seemed to be an infinite number of dining options. Overall, an excellent stay in a beautiful city on a fantastic island!

Well what can I say..... I'd read the reviews and picked Three houses based on those and the fact that it's in a great Funchal location and a 'boutique' hotel (offering apartments.) I don't often review but feel compelled to as we are (still here) having an amazing stay. The concept of an apartment hotel is great...there is a super restaurant if you wish, but equally the Three houses team are happy to make recommendations. Things which have exceeded my expectations; Housekeeping team - leave our apartment as new every day...lovely! Great help with things to do from reception team, including if you've hired a car...routes for the island with great tips for things to see provided, Also free parking , Great facilities in the apartment, Teams at hand via WhatsApp, Cute croissants every morning at your door, And the most amazing roof terrace for relaxing!!! Credit where it's due...fabulous!!!
