I stayed for six nights - an older, solo traveler. I was greeted warmly by the owners, and I found all the staff members I had contact with to be friendly, helpful, and informative. I also found the other guests to be cheerful and interesting, no doubt an outgrowth of Pensao Mirasol's a**osphere, when we interacted in the dining area. I'll stay there again the next time I'm in Funchal.

We've spent a lovely time in Mirasol hotel, while being in Madeira. Host and personel are very kind and helpful, they provided us with a plenty of practical information about the island from places worth to see to local markets, pubs and restaurants with local foods. They have own garage for the car and nice classic vintage hotel with the see view. Breakfasts were very tasty, including fresh rolls, eggs, cheese, juice, yoghurt or coffee and tea. Mirasol hotel is also located in the Hart of the old town in Funchal, which is perfect place for a base of your tours. I strongly recommend Mirasol as place to stay in Madeira.

Sweet host we arrived late at night because of the flight. The host was so kind to open up for us even though it was very late. Nice room for the price. We would definetly recomend the place if you are looking for a place to stay in the center of Funchal.🙂

Je ne peux que confirmer les avis positifs déjà donnés, endroit tout simple avec 17 chambres sur trois espaces différents. Nous étions logés dans une maison annexe à la principale juste la rue en face. Nous avons eu une chambre très spacieuse avec un lit très grand et très confortable, une salle de bain spacieuse avec baignoire, située bien au calme, tres propre. petit dejeuner copieux, endroit très bien placé, proche de la mer, du centre , de la rue Santa Maria. Les propriétaires sont très arrangeants, très aimables, n'hésitez pas à appeler avant de réserver. Umberto parle toutes les langues. Être endroit et référence identiques du retard mais je ne suis pas d'accord avec avis du guide, il mérite un meilleur avis.

Zeer vriendelijke gastheer. Nette kamer en propere (privé) badkamer op de gang. De kamer bevond zich in de woning net om de hoek en was gelegen aan de tuinkant. Zeer rustige kamer. De kamer was klassiek ingericht met vintage meubels. No nonsense. De badkamer was ruim met een bad douche combinatie en goed warm stromend water. Het beste is als je rechtstreeks boekt (denk ik) wat ik niet gedaan heb. Ik boekte via een boekingswebsite. De uitbater heeft meermaals contact opgenomen om mijn verblijf te regelen, terwijl ik ervan uitging dat dit in orde was. Ik kwam met een late vlucht in Funchal toe en de gastheer is me op de luchthaven komen oppikken. Ik had een kamer zonder ontbijt geboekt, aangezien ik 's ochtends enkel wat fruit eet en thee drink. Ik hoop bij een volgende gelegenheid een waterkoker ter beschikking te krijgen.

Echanges très positifs avant l'arrivée, avec le père Joao et le fils Umberto (6 langues) Présence pleine d'attention, toujours à votre écoute, pour un séjour serein et agréable. Le personnel de service est également très sympathique. Sur place plusieurs offres de services , (excursions, location de voiture, etc). Petits déjeuners copieux. Situation très proche des restaurants, du grand marché couvert et à deux pas du bord de mer . Le prix est très correct, nous avons bénéficié d'un appartement super confortable! Nous y reviendrons avec plaisir.

Hôtel familial, accueillant et parlant toutes les langues! Chambre spacieuse, baignoire ou douche, pleins de rangements et surtout une bonne literie! chambre nettoyée tous les jours. Le petit déjeuner est copieux_ mais simple. A chaque fois que nous partons à Madère, nous allons chez Eux.; pour aller voir notre famille et ils en font partie....en quelque sorte! Ah! j'oubliai les femmes de service qui sont super sympas; vous parlez avec eux chaque matin. on dirait tous les membres d'une même famille travaillant à l'hôtel. et le prix est très correct!

Mi spiace sempre dare recensioni negative, ma non ci siamo proprio. Vero: poco pagare, poco avere ma almeno quel poco che c'è dovrebbe essere funzionante! Il bagno era scandaloso: wc con sporco ormai incrostato, doccia microscopica con temuta tenda, acqua gelata oppure rovente.... Letto scomodissimo, da buttare. Ancora la dannata moquette.... Completamente assente, inoltre, il concetto di accessibilità. La ragazza della sala ed il papà del gestore, comunque, 2 persone carine. Unico punto a favore la posizione, anche se uscendo dall'ingresso principale bisogna fare attenzione alle macchine che sfrecciano a tutta velocità (no marciapiede, uscita diretta sulla strada). Non lo consiglio affatto, se non al massimo per 1 notte.
