Muffe kamer aan achterkant van hotel. Lawaai van straatverkeer en airco winkelcentrum is storend. Kamers aan poolside zijn beter. Slechte ventilatie in badkamer. Ontbijt in buffetvorm is ok. Parking in naastliggende publieke parking is goed. Alleen staat dit nergens beschreven en is voor nieuwe gasten wat zoekwerk.

Excellent stay for 1 week, it’s a superb location for accessing the local area and Funchal. The hotel has everything you need, it’s warm and welcoming and the facilities are excellent. Can’t wait to come back. Swimming pool location and size is the best I’ve seen in a while, it’s square and not an odd shape so it makes swimming much nicer, plenty of loungers and places to relax. Beautiful views of the sea. If your considering this hotel then go for it, you won’t be disappointed 10/10 for us on everything Also the staff are very friendly, welcoming and look after your needs very well.

Fine hotel available on a JET2 package holiday. Apartment was well equipped but balcony very small. I would upgrade to balcony with sea view if staying again. Lots of good bars, shop & restaurants nearby. Easy access to Funchal by bus, taxi or on foot. Good breakfast. Pool was super but loungers need replacing.

We have just returned from our stay at The Views Monumental, the location of this hotel is perfect, bus stops across and down the road. Plenty of restaurants, bars, shops and tour operators. Easy to walk into Funchal town, about 2 miles to the old town or there is also a nice walk along the promenade towards Camara de Lobos. The hotel itself had everything we needed, our room was on the 6th floor with a fabulous sea view. Room was clean and comfortable. There was always plenty of choice for breakfast. The pool area was lovely and plenty of sun beds, nice pool as well. We used the pool bar for drinks which were reasonably priced. We didn’t use the main bar in the evening so can’t comment but there were always people in the bar in the evening and there was entertainment. We would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel and would definitely stay here again.

We visited with a toddler and found the hotel perfect for what we needed. The location is perfect for both the Lido and Funchal Centre, handy for buses also. We stopped in a studio which was a little dated in decor but was very clean and the fridge came in very useful. We found the breakfast great, the omelette bar is a great addition and the fruit was lovely. We didn’t drink at the hotel bar so can’t comment on prices. Staff were all very friendly and helped us with car hire which I would recommend you do. I have noticed people complaining about the bottle of water in the room being chargeable and having to buy from the supermarket, however, the tap water is perfectly safe to drink so save your money. Overall, we had a lovely time!
