Residence Inn Anaheim Placentia/Fullerton

Good name brand hotel. But it needs some repair service in bathroom and furnitures.

Great stay! The staff was professional and welcoming. There is complimentary breakfast, tasted great. Parking is available for $9.

We have stayed here quite a few times, but this time was truly the best experience we've ever had. The rooms are redone and I love that the floors are now a solid surface, rather than carpeting. So perfect if you're bringing your little fur-baby. The grounds are manicured beautifully and add to the restful ambience. The breakfast room is quite nice, with all kinds of good eats to get your day started. This location is walking distance to The Bruery (for a beer or two) and a Jack in the Box as well. We can't recommend a stay here enough! It is easy driving to Disneyland if you're on your way to the Magic Kingdom! And if you're visiting your student at Cal Fullerton, it's very close too.

I had a wonderful stay at Residence Inn. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my visit. Josie at the front desk was so kind upon check in and Felicitas provided exceptional service during breakfast. The room itself was decent - clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a relaxing stay. Thank you.

This is a standard Residence Inn (old style). It was overall clean and the employees were friendly. It is in the middle of some renovations, so perhaps some of the small problems we found (torn couch pillows, bathroom doors that stick) will be fixed. But what really upset me here was the charge for parking - $9 per night. There is no need for this other than a money grab. This is not an urban hotel where parking is at a premium. In fact, the Quality Inn next door (which charges less than $100 per night for a room) does not charge for parking! Please just increase your room rate by $9 rather than sticking me with an extra fee. This ‘cheapens’ the feel of the property. The hotel should also take a look at its signage. The back entrance to the breakfast area has a large sign that says “Welcome!” but when you try to enter, you find a locked door with a small sign asking you to go around front. In the lobby, there is still a sign that says face masks are required, but this clearly has not been the policy for some time. The issue here is not the signs themselves, but the lack of attention to detail that they represent.

This hotel is old and musty. If you end up in the rear building you will see homeless roaming around picking through the hotels trash. The breakfast lady had a smirk on her face and was not welcoming. As for the rate, don’t fall for their published price. You will pay tax after tax and you even pay for parking. We asked for an extension for 1 day and was told in a stern manner that we’d have to make a new reservation including paying an additional deposit for our small dog which was $50 per day. Stay anywhere but at this 3rd world dump.

On this trip, I was traveling with my high school cross-country team. Nick at the front desk was so helpful with answering questions and facilitating rooms near each other. I also appreciate the evening staff at the front desk, as they coordinated with the kitchen workers, so we could have grab-and-go breakfasts for the athletes since we needed to leave for the race before the weekend breakfast offering. The entire staff worked cohesively to make our stay run smoothly. Thank you!

My family stayed at the Residence Inn Anaheim Placentia/Fullerton for a family wedding (September 23, 2023). This is not the first time we’ve stayed at this hotel because I appreciate consistency. The staff, especially housekeeping staff, is very helpful and responsive to our needs. The grounds are clean, and the complimentary breakfast in the morning is satisfying. But what I truly admire about this property is the staff and their attention to details. I recently received a call from a Residence Inn staff indicating that we left some personal items in the room where we stayed in and to find out what we wanted to do with them. The items left were plastic spoons, Lysol wipes, table napkins, and a pair of broken pink shoes. Frankly, they could have just tossed these items, but they went out of their way to keep them until after speaking with me. That’s what I call excellent customer service and the main reason I keep returning to this property when I am in the Anaheim area. Thank you!!!
