It's a very great experience. The environment and room are so clean and full of Japanese element. The staff are in passion and very nice even we're little bit late for checking in. It is a very good choice for everyone to stay.

About 10-15 minutes from Iizaka Onsen station. The hotel is situated uphill & is a traditional construction w/spacious parking area. Check-in is easy & short, & staff is friendly & polite. Our room has mountain view & can hear water running downstream when window open. Quite serene! Our meal plan included breakfast & dinner (half board). Japanese style dining w/good amount of food & varieties. Literally, they can fill you up. Separate indoor/outdoor public onsens for women & men. I suggested to order the meal plan w/room as many restaurants are still closed around the area. I believe they provide free shuttle to/from station if book ahead. We didn’t know until the day we checked out & they gave us a ride.😊

There was a partition between the dining area and the next room. I was satisfied with both the content and the amount of food. The room is probably standard for a hot spring inn. It was cleaned well. As for the bath, the water was quite lukewarm, which was disappointing. The water in the open-air bath was even lukewarmer. Also, there was a person with tattoos all over his back, which was a big minus. I didn't check if people with tattoos are allowed in the bath, but it felt bad.

Iizaka Onsen is famous for being hot. This inn was no exception and was quite hot. The body rejects heat, but strangely enough, once you get used to it, it adapts to the heat that your body desires. We visited in September, when the summer heat was still lingering, so after getting out of the bath, sweat was pouring down like a waterfall and would not stop. In cold seasons, you might not even need heating. The rooms were spacious and open. Meals were served at the venue, but they were separated by partitions so you didn't have to worry about people looking at you. Of course, the food was delicious. I recommend the ramen, which is perfect for a late-night snack. It was delicious and not to be underestimated.

The a**osphere was wonderful, and the festival background music was somehow exciting. The service was also relaxed, so I came to refresh myself and feel at peace. The baths and food were nothing special, but the price and the a**osphere of the inn were perfect for a short outing!

Although I stayed here during the COVID-19 pandemic, the inn took thorough measures and I was able to relax with peace of mind. Dinner in a private room was great.

As a measure against COVID-19, dining areas and other facilities are private rooms. I was able to enjoy my meal comfortably without being crowded.

It was the last day of the long weekend, so it was empty. We had the place almost to ourselves, which was a shame. I sincerely hope that once the COVID-19 pandemic is over, it will be a lively, packed, and lively place, and it was a very satisfying stay.
