JR Kyushu Hotel Blossom Hakata Central Reviews

Room was soundproof and on 8th floor. Bidet sprayed rather hot water which was scary and the shower temperature very hard to adjust and water was mainly too hot. Need to keep turning the control to cool it down before you can start to shower. Better to leave it on after you adjust else you have a spend a long time readjusting. Bed does not offer very good support but reasonably comfortable. Hotel charges a fee of 3000 yen for disposal of luggage (including if you spoiled yours by accident). Based on the info online the regulation is you need to pay for disposal of bulk waste but the hotel marked up the fee at least 3 times which I feel is a rip off for a tourist with a damaged luggage and had to get a replacement suitcase already. They put a tiny dustbin in the room and had a TV only with local channels. Service staff unable to even understand and speak basic English. Remember to stick the sticker on your rubbish if it does not fit in the dustbin else they won't clear it even if it is obvious it is rubbish. Grab the free honey tea satchets from front desk and help yourself to the amenity bar at the level 1 lift lobby. They are not high quality but sufficient. The 2 bottled water and daily housekeeping much appreciated. Pajamas too big for me.

Good location and next to metro station. Breakfast is ok, the salad is very fresh. The bed and pillows are comfy.

I stayed a total of 5 nights in this hotel, recommended by my friend for its excellent location and big room size. As it was so near to Hakata Station, there was no problem coming back to pick up a forgotten thing. What I liked most of the room was the spacious and bright bathroom. We ate the hotel breakfast once - good variety, and used the laundry machine once. The downside of my stay was that we were given rooms on the low floors (3rd & 4th) each time. The lighting in the room was insufficient and felt dim.

Hotel location is super convenient, just 5 minutes walk to JR station. Lots of shops, restaurants nearby.

Super convenient location. Just 1 minute walk from Hakata station. Great service were provided.  Surprised that the hotel were able to let us to check in earlier than the preset time as our room is ready when we arrived at around 13:00.

This hotel sits right next to one of the exits of the Hakata JR station. Nothing to complain about location-wise except maybe for the fact that the closest JR exit doesn't have an escalator such that travelers have to walk up the stairs. Five-minute walking distance to 0101 and other shopping malls around the Hakata JR station. Hotel room is neat and tidy. Room size is above average Japanese hotel standard - spacious enough to open two luggage boxes. The only minus for this hotel is that its car parks are five-minutes walking distance away from the hotel building. Charges are JPY 1500 every 17 hours (yes, it's hard to comprehend). Overall, a nice stay!

Always our first choice to stay whenever we are at Hakata. Excellent location, very polite staff & thank you for taking attention to our requests.

Hotel provides kid’s amenities. It’s a family friendly hotel. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Room is clean and the size is good enough for family.

Everything is good, except one bed in twin room is very close to the wall. I picked a bigger room 290m, expecting the bed is away from the wall, but it is same as a 250m twin room.
