Hot spring Hotels in Fukuoka

Good room service and helpful customer services. They helped to order Omakase for us for local Japanese restaurant. Welcome drink good quality. Spa good hygiene with supply of towels, no need to use room towels which earned high satisfaction. However, set breakfast rather than buffet breakfast which was beyond our expectations. 4 set breakfast not much choices during our 7 days stay in hotel. Food left behind most of time due to over size or food not fit the taste. Always food wasting occurred for customers. Will not choose this hotel again if still set breakfast. Anyway Miyako Hotel still earns high rating overall and will be suggested to our friends.

Let me preface my review by saying I'm from North America. The room was so small there were no nightstands on either side of the bed, so nowhere to put your phone, water, etc. They go in the bed with you. Your new towels are given to you in plastic bags, hung on the door handle. The carpets are worn and not clean, the furniture is also very worn. There is no housekeeping during your stay, you are told to put your garbage in the hallway and it will be picked it up, so the hallway smells like garbage and there are garbage bags everywhere. When someone checks out, the cleaning staff goes in and takes out all the linens and dumps them on the hallway floor, so during the day, there is garbage and piles of dirty linen down the hallways. When the cleaning staff goes from floor to floor, they do not have their own elevator, and get in the elevator with you, with their trolleys and bags of garbage. The location is excellent, right near the train station. The restaurant for breakfast, included, was very good, but only traditional Japanese food. No english was spoken at this hotel, so check in took a long time while he tried to explain all these rules to me with laminated pictures.

The hotel is nice with high level lobby and free hot spring on the top floor. That is actually located in the prime location of Fukuoka with few top travel spots around like 櫛田神社, Canal City & Tenjin Underground mall. The restaurants around are also nice, especially for the recommended restaurants from the hotel. We had our great first trip to Fukuoka here.

2nd time to stay in 2 years because loved their location, in the middle between Tenjin and Gion where lots of shopping and dining choices but not that crowded as in Hakata JR station.

The hotel is conveniently located 15 min away from Hakata Station. It has a nice onsen, and provides many refreshments for free at different times of the day eg ice cream, Yakult and ramen. The breakfast spread is good, and the food is delicious.

AMAZING PLACE with onsen that opens till 12 midnight!! Spacious room and lobby too.

Natural hot spring - Mikasa no Yu: The hot spring water is of great quality, and there is a strong natural hot spring smell, which makes the skin smooth after soaking Night snack - Yeming soy sauce ramen: The free night snack is really humane And there are free drinks on each floor, and there are free massage chairs. The main part of the hotel has two floors. The first floor is the check-in front desk (where luggage is also stored) and the dining area (you can only eat on the first floor). The second floor is the sleeping cabin and washing area. In addition, the public space is a place where you need to order and consume. There is a bar table and chair area where you can sit. First of all, this hotel is not suitable for foreign travelers because suitcases must be stored on the first floor. It will be very troublesome if you forget to take them on the second floor. Moreover, the personal storage boxes on the second floor are also very small and can only hold things such as coat and shoe storage bags. The hotel's circulation arrangement is not very reasonable. After the elevator on the first floor reaches the second floor, you must first change into slippers when entering the rest area, and then store items in the lockers. There are two doors next to it, one is the sleeping cabin area and the other is the bathroom. Especially It's easy to go wrong. Personally, I think it is suitable to be held within Japan and not suitable for foreigners to travel (if you have very little luggage, I didn’t say so)

10 minutes walk from Hakata Station. City view. Double twin room for 3 people I was surprised that the room was so small. There are no tables or chairs in the room, making it inconvenient to eat. There is a bathtub, but you cannot stretch your legs. It's nice to have a bathhouse (suitable for 4-5 people) on the 3rd and 4th floors. Satisfies the requirements for a hot spring bath with music. Satisfied with luggage storage service. Refrigerator too small. There's almost no place to put food in. They don't even give you water, but they tell you to use a water purifier, but the water tastes weird. I bought some water. Stand up makeup. Dry impossible. The mirror is so small that you have to sit down to see it. Inconvenient to prepare quickly together. The staff are generally friendly. Drinks on the first floor. There is alcohol service, but it is rarely used. If I go to Fukuoka again, I think I'll book a hotel within 5 minutes of Hakata Station. Radius size. Dressing table mirror size. Check carefully whether there is a table in the room~~^^

Hotel was right at west 6 exit, very near to Hakata station to access to anywhere, accessibility is great, room are alway consider small in japan but bed was a king size which i consider better than most and an osen right at the basement of the hotel! Convenient store is right downstair which is the best part, access to hakata underground shopping to access to anywhere, Ikkousha la men is nearby, Ichiran at sun-plaza and many other mall or train connected right by the underground shopping. I love it and i will be back!
