*************** About MUKUten.sha Fujinomiya*************** MUKUten.Sha Fujinomiya is a maisonette villa-type hotel that opened in January 2024 and is limited to one group per day. "MUKU" means "solid wood" in Japanese. “ten" means "above the heavens" or "on a wooden board" in Japanese. “舎Sha" is a kanji character that represents good fortune in a house and is pronounced “sha". The silhouette of the character "sha" is an auspicious design. The slope of the gable roof of the building matches the ridgeline of Mount Fuji, and all Japanese wood is used to create an interior space that evokes the silhouette of the character “舎sha". Please enjoy the attention to detail born from the design of an architect who wanted to create an auspicious inn and the craftsmanship of the artisans. The romance and power of Japanese trees, such as cedar, zelkova, and beech, which have been considered sacred trees since the mythological era more than 2,000 years ago, and ancient cedars from Yakushima that are more than 1,200 years old, are incorporated into the structure and interior of the building. The bathtub and sauna are made of cypress from the foot of Mt. Fuji. The bedroom is made of four 4.4m wide, 70cm thick planks. The headboard is a single plank 1m wide made of camphor, a famous tree that has been considered auspicious since ancient times. Camphor is not only a symbol of longevity and immortality, but also a fragrant tree. The scent of camphor's natural essential oils and the gentle, soothing wood grain will help you sleep peacefully during your trip. The shoji screens that gently divide the space are made using traditional techniques by the local Fujinomiya City Yu Handmade Washi Workshop. They are made by hand from materials such as kozo, mitsumata, and gampi, and finished using the traditional sun-drying method of taikobari. The lounge is only available for breakfast in the evening, and breakfast is only available to guests. The plan includes a self-service breakfast and evening local sake service. In the lounge, you can enjoy your meal at a large table made from sacred ancient zelkova wood that sprouted approximately 2,000 years ago. For breakfast, we offer the ultimate local fish, "Mt. Fuji Salmon (rainbow trout)," which is raised with the bounty of the rich forest spring water and river. We offer a menu using local seasonal ingredients.

"Because it is unmanned, it is difficult to evaluate the service, but I think the operator's response was good. The location is an ordinary residential area, but there were ions, restaurants and convenience stores nearby. It was a fashionable detached type and cleaning was well done, and I was able to spend it comfortably, but it was better if there was a bath chasing function. It was possible to stay for 6 people, but it was just a good feeling to stay with 4 people. "

"Such a spectacular place to stay! The owners are extremely friendly. They are there when you need (during check in, morning of check out) but leave a lot of privacy to the guests. The unit is very well appointed, with all amenities prepared. There's a separate study/office where you can work if needed. The den overlook the pond of the shrine 50m from the residence. There is a full kitchen which we definitely enjoyed making and having dinner and breakfast there. Would go back again."

"Zu dem Hotel Crown Hills Fujinomiya: I had a non-smoking room with shower. The bed was pleasantly soft as in many city hotels , which had a thick and a thin ceiling. The measurements were standard 140x180cm. There was a desk with TV and a small refrigerator in the room. To the bathroom. This was a little small (as Asians are mostly smaller), so I am 185cm and I could stand just like that and had 5cm room to the roof, but it did not further disturb. In the bathroom, a shower was small but fulfilled its purpose as I said. (Image in the annex) I had breakfast with it, but I didn't use it because I was a sleeper. The breakfast is from 6-9 hour. The hotel also has a free spa area I did not use, unfortunately, because I was only 2 nights ahead. The staff was very premature and helped directly in problems. What I very much liked was that only 3 min walk to public transport and Seven Eleven each. I liked the stay very well and would come in the night. Lg Maurice"

"There is a natural hot spring but it is very small. There is Daiso and conveyor belt sushi opposite the hotel. Breakfast is divided into time periods. Due to the small space, the food variety is limited, but it is tasty and overall good."

"Decent hotel that is most advantageous for it's location - it is immediately next to the train station and bus station, providing great convenience for any trip in the area. It is near to many restaurants, cafes, a mall, and the Fuji World Heritage Center which is a very well thought-out museum. A few problems concern cleanliness and it's amenities. We found a few bugs across the hotel and the bathroom sometimes produced an odor (not of our own making, mind you). The amenities are mostly in good working order but are are limited in some annoying ways. Food quality and variety in the breakfast could be a little better - no coffee is available even though there is a coffee machine for instance. Laundry machines are only available when the baths are open for a few hours in the morning and evening. One other issue concerns the notion that although the hotel has stated on signs that they would be unable to access our room without the key, they were able to do so anyway when we requested to change the bedding with the bug in it. This left us a little perplexed. Otherwise, other aspects of the hotel were up to snuff. Friendly staff. Efficient service. Willing to store luggage. The welcome drink (pour your own alcoholic drink) was a nice touch."

"It was an old-fashioned hotel. Although the facilities were generally old, it was clean and comfortable. There was Wi-Fi, but the connection speed was such that I could send SNS messages but not watch videos. I could see Mt. Fuji clearly from the hotel room, as in the photo. The staff were nice. As for amenities, toothbrushes were available for pick-up, and yukatas were also available for rental. I left the next day at 3am to climb Mt. Fuji, but since it was outside the check-out time, I put my key in the locker at the front desk and checked out. Also, the front desk is only open until 1am, so I left my luggage the previous day before going to bed and picked it up after I finished climbing."

以咖啡治百病Great! JR came out very close and turned around Japanese-style room, you can see Mount Fuji on the balcony, but there is no snow this season, not amazing The owner is super nice. We bought food in the supermarket and prepared it to be heated in a microwave oven. He said nothing and quickly prepared two dishes and one soup, which were delicious. Can communicate in English If you have the opportunity to visit Fujinomiya again, be sure to stay again!

OokankI think this is a new type of hotel and it's great! It's like a guesthouse, but there are partitions so it's comfortable. Everything was clean, including the toilets and showers. Cleansing, lotion, and milky lotion were provided in the bathroom. Other amenities, including towels and toothbrushes, must be purchased, so I recommend bringing your own! You can also drink coffee and tea for free in the shared space. One thing to note is that it is prohibited to make sound from your smartphone, so I recommend bringing headphones. Wi-Fi is available, but I forgot my headphones, so I watched videos on mute (tears)

GGuest UserThe South Asian guy at the front desk was very welcoming. This hotel is suitable for poor travelers traveling alone. It is not far from Fujinomiya Station. It is a small place. It is enough for one day. The streets were deserted at night. I felt like I was the only one in the whole city that night. mainland tourists

MMINIn an old Japanese couple’s homestay, the communal toilets and bathrooms were cleaned by the elderly themselves. It is estimated that they are insufficiently capable and are not considered clean in Japan. It is the peak season for climbing. The accommodations were all people who climbed Mount Fuji. We booked four rooms on Ctrip. As a result, four of us were squeezed into one room. The only thing I talked about was that Ctrip gave some compensation, and the landlord’s wife drove us to Tianguan Lake the next day.
