Crescendo Hotel is a B&B located halfway up the mountain on the north shore of Lake Kawaguchi. It has a peaceful environment and is less than one kilometer away from the lake. The closest stop is 16 on the red line bus. Get off at the 15th stop, where there are Family Mart and 7-11. The hotel is not big, but it has complete facilities, is clean and tidy, and has a rich breakfast. It is very pleasant to walk, ride, and climb during the day, and come back to soak in the hot springs at night. The boss is warm and hospitable. He used to be a singer. I stayed at Twin for two nights on the last day of the Yamanashi discount, with two meals included. The room was a comfortable size, and the view of Lake Kawaguchi and Mt. Fuji from the window was beautiful. In the evening, I enjoyed the 24-hour hot spring bath, and in the morning, I enjoyed the jacuzzi in the solarium with a view of Mt. Fuji. Dinner was a full course, and breakfast was also voluminous. They make do with a small budget. Family-run. Hospitality was also good.
