This is a really old hotel, so it got that distinctive 'old house smell' which may not be pleasing to some people but its alright to us. The hotel got a special vintage vibe to it which we enjoyed throughout our stay.
Mt Fuji is directly visible from the rooftop, definitely recommend watching sunrise with mt fuji if weather allows.

The hotel is very old. It smelled unpleasantly and the shower was not cleaned properly and hair was left in the shower area. I didn’t take a shower that night and left in early morning to find a public onsen to take shower.
