Backpackers Hostel K’s House Mt.Fuji
Everything here has been an amazing experience.
I’ve had the chance to meet many international friends,
exchanging and experiencing different cultures in our exploration of Japan.
The staff feel like brothers and sisters —
they help with everything, big or small.
It feels like we’re all living together as one big family.
Before 5 a.m., everyone wakes up to head out for the sunrise.
We go out to capture the sunrise over Mt. Fuji.
When we return, we share the highlights of our day.
This place is filled with the warmth of a real home.
Looking forward to coming back next time.

The hotel is nice location, a little bit far from Kawaguchiko station but it's near supermarket. The hotel is clean and tidy

Staff not kind at all, i think it was probably the worst service or rudest japanese people out of my 3rd time in japan. However the next morning it was a european or caucasian gentlemen at the reception that was particularly kind. Toothbrush 100yen and even towel 100yen to borrow, i think it not necessary with the price already high it could just be given or included in the hotel price. Little dusty floors. The room was pretty big for a family of 4.

This is my second time booked this place
The front lady is so helpful and friendly
Gave the welcome vibes and always smile
Place so clean and loundry only 500¥
Which is good after long walk
Good view too from infront the hotel
To Fuji lake only takes 7 mins
Huge living room and complete kitchen
Warn people , I like it
I will come back to my next visit to Fuji area ❤️

I've been to both K's houses in the Fuji area. This one is closer to the lake closer to the bus stops, in a better location, but somehow lacks the charm of the other hostel that is more remote.

The smell in the toilet is really bad and the pillow is too soft and small.
However, the staff are very friendly.

The single room was nice, the hostel had very cozy vibe, the staff was nice. They did big clean every day but some guests left it not very clean.

Good location, its near lake kawaguchiko and clean . There are also good restaurants nearby. Plus,the staffs are very helpful.
