Very Good value for money! With welcome drinks (juice & house wines) & snacks. Fusion fine dining dinner mixed with Japanese & western style, decent presentation & taste good. Cozy room setting with high quality drinks ware. Due to bad weather, we didn’t use the outdoor bath tub but we believe that it should have the FJ Mountain view. The 5 different hot-spring private rooms are special, no reservation is required & we tried the hot stone chair & felt good! The hot-spring section also provides to ice lolly & drinks. Buffet as the Morning breakfast with variety of foods but only serve till to 9:15am. Hotel pack up service with several time slots & operated on time.

View: 10/10 The views of Mount Fuji are simply spectacular. Waking up to that breathtaking sight is something I'll never forget. For the price of this hotel, you can’t go wrong. Love the location and the view of Mount Fuji. This is a basic local hotel surrounded by much more expensive accommodations. We stay for 2 nights during the autumn light illumination festival. I have requested for a Mount Fuji view room. Worth the extra dollars to admire the beauty. The challenge is always trying to get a room during the peak season like cherry blossoms or autumn leaves season. Better book well in advance. This hotel offers free parking and free breakfast, simple but yet complete meal. The hotel looks like it had recently been remodel or upgraded from another establishment. The hotel surrounding and finish looks well maintained. Highly recommended stay.

富士山目当ての宿泊だったが、残念ながら雲に隠れて観ること叶わず。しかしホテルのHPにある様に、天気が良ければ逆さ富士も見えるロケーション。今回夫婦での旅行だったが、もし次に行く時はたった２室しかないテラス付きの和洋室が絶対お勧め。今回土曜日宿泊だったため、和洋室の予約が取れなかったが、狭いけどテラス付きの部屋が何とか確保。驚きはその料金。2人で朝夕食事付なのに、他のホテルの一人分の料金より安いのにはビックリ。 朝夕の食事は共にビュッフェスタイルだったが、品数も多く美味しさもあって食べ過ぎてしまった。ホテルの従業員の教育も行き届いており、到着時にはすぐに出て来て車の移動してくれるし、食堂で子供を抱っこして飾っているオモチャの自動車見せていたお父さんがいたら、子供に「どれが好き？」と聞いてプレゼントしていた。 お風呂も泉質がいい温泉で、清掃の1時間以外いつでも入れるのもいい。 妻には安かろう悪かろうも覚悟しておく様に言っておいたが、部屋の狭さ以外最低限のアメニティも揃っており、従業員さん達の接客姿勢が凄くいいので、大変満足感があった宿でした。

A classic hotel managed by two friendly elderly men. Both ojiisan cant speak English but they both understand whatever i said in English. They both tried to be helpful in anyway. The hotel's staff and crew are elderly people as well. The hotel is near to Kawaguchiko bus and train station (less 100m). There is a bicycle rental shop a few metres from its left side. The twin bed room i booked is small but comfortable and a few spaces for me to perform my solat. The sliding window is weird too and since i didnt know how to close it, we got our room wet from the rain that night 😭. The beds are comfortable with a small pillow each. The bathroom and toilet are small too but clean, complete with basic toiletries - clean towels, a hard toothbrush and toothpaste, a tiny soap and a packet of shampoo. However becareful with the hot water because the flow isnt stable and you will find yourself burnt from the sudden hot flows. Inside the room we have a TV, aircond (the room is hotter during summer even with an aircond), slippers, yukata (do not fret if you didnt bring a nightdress), two little chairs and a small table, a few packets of green tea, glasses and a weird kettle with Japanese instructions 😭😭😭 which we failed to understand. No mineral water in bottles provided so we used the boiled tap water. The vending machines downstaires do not provided mineral waters too. 7 Elevan and Lawson are about 200m to 300m from the hotel (on the right side). I got all of my rations from the Kawaguchiko Station because it is nearer to the hotel and the station. has all types of vending machines

The location of the hotel is fantastic for sunset viewing. There is plenty of parking across the road, with a surfeit of basically unnecessary staff. We had a reasonable-sized room with large windows and a wonderful panorama of the lake and Mount Fuji. That's all that's positive. The hotel is in two parts: the original building and an annexe. It is NOT suitable for wheelchair users trying to get to a restaurant. There are too many steps, twists and turns. There are lifts to find rooms in part A or part B, and the locations of the onsens (which switch between male and female every day - nice views, though). The signage is rare and confusing. As a stocky European (100Kg), I had immense difficulty sleeping on a very thin futon. The electric heater in the room blasts an unhealthy stream of hot air. Switch off this health risk and you FREEZE (we were there in late October). The hotel is relatively expensive, so you'd expect quality rooms. What you get is the uniform Japanese army-style sp****, goose**** green-walled room that you'd find in business hotels at half the room rate of this laughingly named 'NEW CENTURY' place. Minimalist, to say the least (in reality, pinched, lacking in generosity and well-being). At least there was a fridge (with a freezer icebox!!) In a series of measures as a response to the risks of COVID, there were no real glasses - just paper cups, and a message asking you to close the toilet lid before flushing. Disappointingly, the toilet was untypically low quality - no little hand-washing basin and fountain on the top of the toilet, and thus no towel in the toilet itself. (So, mucky hands grasping two sets of door handles to wash your hands. How's that for customary Japanese hygiene?) We (a group of 13 people - I was the only gaijin...) had booked an evening meal, room and breakfast the next morning. Dinner? Again, for the price, you'd expect a nice piece of fish (probably from the lake) right? NO way. We got a few bits of sukiyaki, and mean little dishes with bits and pieces of this and that... I've eaten MUCH better food in izakayas and bars throughout Japan. My opinion was echoed by most of our party. Breakfast was below ordinary. Simple, plain, dull. Something to dispense with quickly. Taking fuel on board, that's all. The service in the restaurant was desultory (= awful, ungracious). During dinner, a stocky old lady granted me the opportunity to be bumped TWICE by her capacious bottom as she served the person next to me. I complained and pushed back, to the accompaniment of giggles from her lithe, unobtrusive colleagues. Mercifully I was spared any further encounter with this voluminous rear end at breakfast. The staff at breakfast time were a) limited in number b) slow and c) VERY detached. One had the feeling they were cleaning staff put into waiting uniforms. Per person, we paid over 13,000 yen. Frankly, an outrageous price. The ONLY benefit was the view. For that, you don't need a hotel room. A bus tour will

As a traveller with large tattoos, I wanted to leave a review here confirming that this onsen allows for guests with tattoos. This is the onsen review only. I went in the early afternoon on a Saturday and, while initially I shared the onsen with 4 other Japanese ladies, eventually I had the whole onsen for myself. Very hot water, 1 indoor pool and 2 outdoor pools, although one was not in use and empty. 1000 yen for 2 hours (bring your own towels), English website, easy to access from Kawaguchiko station.

The hotel is located 1.5 km from the station and offers free navigation service (up to 10 a.m. in the direction of return and from 15:00 p.m.) and is in a very quiet place just in front of the lake and 500 metres from the shopping centre. Vraiment extraordinaire. La navette est venu nous chercher et tout a été absolument parfait. L’hôtel était très beau et le onsen jouis d’air d’une vue magnifique sur le Fuji. Nous avons très bien mangé et chaque repas en bénéficiant des conseils avisés d’une serveuse d’une grande délicatesse, sans elle notre séjour n’aurait pas du tout été aussi bon. Nous avons adoré notre séjour ici et nous ne l’oublierons jamais. Note aux français : le Japon est un pays magnifique, extrêmement accueillant, aux coutumes séculaires. En retour je pense que cela mérite de s’intéresser un minium aux usages de politesse et à la langue. J’ai été assez choqué de voir le comportement de mes compatriotes sur place : être en retard, se lever de table, commencer des plats et ne pas les finir, tout cela est insultant pour les japonais qui vous reçoivent.

We were searching for accommodations on a hotel website with the aim of relaxing in the hotel and watching Mt. Fuji, and when we happened to come across KUKUNA, which had a cancellation, we immediately made a reservation. ・Has an open-air bath ・A direct view of Mt. Not only did we meet our search criteria, but our impressions of the stay also included the cleanliness, comfort, service, and food. As soon as we arrived, the staff who came to pick us up from the car made us think, ”I'm glad I chose this place,” and that feeling continued until we checked out. At the front desk, in the restaurant, and in various other scenes, the staff's polite service, which conveyed their feelings, made me think that it felt like a fresh version of the Ritz-Carlton, and when I heard that the owner had worked at the Ritz-Carlton in Hawaii, I understood.
