It is located 6km from Fuji Interchange, 10km from Shin-Fuji Interchange, and 2km from Shin-Fuji Station on the Tokaido Shinkansen line. It is characterized by having a convenience store, a whitebait shop and a restaurant next door, and a shopping center within walking distance. It is also located in a strategic location in the eastern part of Shizuoka Prefecture, making it convenient for sightseeing in northern Izu, the southern foot of Mt. Fuji, and Shizuoka City. However, there are no amenities or facilities for dogs, so if you are staying with a pet dog, you will need to keep them under control. Family Lodge Hatagoya Fuji Takoura is a roadside hotel located in Fuji City, Shizuoka Prefecture. The parent company, Family Lodge Hatagoya, is a chain of roadside hotels with over 70 stores nationwide, and is a mini-hotel that offers only overnight stays and is located in places that are easily accessible by car, such as tourist spots, interchanges, and main roads. The bedrooms are clean and have all the necessary functions, making it a suitable facility for those who think that a good night's sleep is enough. It is inexpensive and you can stay with your dog, so it is an excellent base for sightseeing in eastern Shizuoka Prefecture with your dog. By the way, the "Tagonoura" in Fuji Tagonoura is the same as the "Tagonoura" that appears in the well-known tanka poems by Yamabe no Akahito: "When I step out of Tagonoura, snow is falling on the high peaks of Fuji, pure white (Manyoshu)" and "When I step out of Tagonoura, snow is falling on the high peaks of Fuji, white and mysterious (Shin Kokinshu)." In fact, Tagonoura Port is right next to the store, and a monument to Yamabe no Akahito's Man'yo poem has been erected in "Fujinokuni Tagonoura Minato Park," which is right next to the inn. However, there is a theory that "Tagonoura" in the Nara period referred to the seaside area from Satta Pass in Shimizu Ward, Shizuoka City to Tagonoura Port, so it is safe to say that the entire area from which you can see Mt. Fuji beautifully, including the current Tagonoura, to the eastern part of Shimizu Ward, Shizuoka City, was "Tagonoura." If you are staying on a regular or high-risk schedule, this is a very cost-effective facility for staying with your dog, and even the top rate seems like a good deal. In summary, it is necessary to train your dog well, limit it to two dogs, and not leave it alone inside the room. In addition, if your dog marks inside and outside the room, cannot control its excretion, barks non-stop, or gets on the bed, you cannot use the hotel. Since "dogs are allowed" does not mean "dogs are welcomed," if appropriate measures are not taken, all stores and rooms in Japan will not allow pets, so you must be extremely careful. By the way, there are no pet-related items, so you must bring everything with you. Also, you cannot bring your dog to the front desk. You can only bring your dog to the rooms that are permitted. As for walking your dog, I think you can enjoy the walk to and from the already mentioned "Fujinokuni Tagonoura Minato Park," which is about a 15-minute walk away. As for food, I recommend eating whitebait freshly caught in Suruga Bay first. At the Tagonoura Port Fisheries Association Restaurant, located 1km from the inn, you can bring your dog indoors and enjoy a delicious whitebait bowl, especially raw whitebait bowls if they have whitebait. In addition to whitebait, they also sell fresh sashimi caught in Suruga Bay, so please try that as well. You can check the restaurant's tweet to see if they have raw whitebait on the day, which is convenient. Another option is Fujinomiya Yakisoba, which is in Fujinomiya City, next to Fuji City. Fujinomiya Yakisoba, which features chewy, firm noodles and seasoning with meat scraps and shaved sardines, can be found in large quantities around Fujinomiya Station in the center of Fujinomiya City and Fujisan Hongu Sengen Taisha Shrine. If you are particular about bringing your dog along, you should visit Omiya Yokocho, located in front of the second torii gate of Fujisan Hongu Sengen Taisha Shrine. There are several restaurants in this alley that sell Fujinomiya Yakisoba, and they also have terrace seats, so when you purchase your food, it is a good idea to ask if you can bring your dog along. If you are in a hurry or have time constraints, you can also use the restaurants in Aeon Town Fuji Minami mentioned above or along National Route 1. Please consider the situation. Regarding sightseeing with dogs, there are no sightseeing spots nearby as the hotel is in an industrial and commercial area, but the following places are within a 30-60 minute drive. First of all, there are the following sites, which are components of the World Heritage site "Mount Fuji - a place of worship and a source of artistic inspiration": Fujisan Hongu Sengen Taisha Shrine Yamamiya Sengen Shrine Suyama Sengen Shrine Shiraito Falls Miho no Matsubara. Shiraito Falls in particular is a great place to take a walk if you also visit the nearby Shiraito Nature Park. Miho no Matsubara has a long pine forest that makes it easy to walk, so it is also a good place to take a walk. However, it is quite difficult to find a place where you can take a beautiful photo of the pine forest and Mount Fuji together, so please check before visiting. It is also a good idea to visit Kunozan Toshogu Shrine, the only national treasure building in Shizuoka Prefecture. If you are a strong runner, you can access the mountain from the sea side, but if not, you can use the Nihon-daira Ropeway.

It was the perfect place to stay for a night without meals. The low price is great for families with many children. I'd like to use it again.

From check-in to check-out, it was easy to stay because contact with people was minimal.
