Albergo Canella

Small hotel with a lovely little wellness area in the middle of the mountains. Older building, but that doesn't detract from the feeling of well-being. I had a large room with a bathroom with a bathtub. You can book the wellness area for 35 euros (2 hours) at reception. Bathrobes and towels are provided. If you want, you can choose from two different menus in the evening. The breakfast is very meager, however - Italian breakfast - you have to know that. Otherwise - very good service. Only parking is a bit difficult with a large car. The parking lot provided is very tight and the access roads are very narrow and steep.

I would like to point out that I called to have a room not available for the August bank holiday.. (it may be that they have to look at their interests) but subsequently I was given a contradictory answer for different dates as for their profit they do not give the possibility of using a gift box if not in the week of the end of August which I do not have... or in the winter months which seems a bit excessive to me... when in the end we do not have other days but above all the rudeness in the answers: it is not my problem because unfortunately they do not look at the clientele or the kindness but only the profit... shame!!!

We stumbled upon it by chance and spent a night in the hotel. Intimate, familiar and very well-kept environment. We had a wonderful time, so much so that we decided to stay for both dinner and lunch. I stayed in this small hotel in Valle Imagna, with my wife, with the opportunity of a Smart box that was given to us. The hotel is a 2-star equipped with the essentials without too many pretensions, but the welcome of the Canella family is truly excellent, being friendly, they put the customers at ease. In addition to the welcome we appreciated the information provided, at our request, on the local points of interest but above all we appreciated the cuisine, genuine, typically local and homely. Positive experience and definitely worth repeating.

Super positive experience!!! We stayed one night in this hotel, beautiful location immersed in the mountains of the Imagna Valley. Super friendly staff and delicious food, wonderful pear-filled parcels. Kind and friendly staff, old-fashioned room but with everything you need. Highly recommended and we will definitely be back.

We arrived at this hotel with a Smartbox gift box, we didn't know the Imagna Valley and we liked it a lot. The hotel is family run, very clean rooms, extra comfortable mattress, very good dinner and breakfasts with lots of choice. I was struck by the friendliness of the managers especially when one evening I had a toothache they went out of their way to give me a painkiller. One piece of advice I can give is to put a curtain in the bathtub so as not to wet the whole floor. As for the noises outside the room it is true that they can be heard but it is not only the fault of the lack of soundproofing of the rooms but it is above all the fault of the customers who talk loudly despite it being a time when you could sleep. I recommend it and I hope to be able to return as soon as possible.

We had lunch on Friday 26th at the hotel restaurant. We were with a couple of friends. We had a great time. The gnocchi were excellent and the casoncelli were exquisite. The second courses chosen (bocconcini with polenta and roast) were also truly tasty. Honest prices and friendly staff. We will definitely be back.

If you pass by Fuipiano, an ideal starting point for fantastic trekking and mountain bike routes, the Canella restaurant is a must. The quality of the cuisine has nothing to envy of the top-level restaurants. And if then… You want to stop for a few days, the hotel rooms are spotless and simply furnished and will make you feel at home. A guarantee!

Mi sono recata in questa struttura con un cofanetto emozione 3, e ho piacevolmente scoperto la Valle Imagna ricca di tantissime escursioni, sentieri,borghi e il bellissimo santuario della Madonna del Cornabusa. L'hotel di categoria 2* ha una qualità nei servizi e nella ristorazione molto più elevata. Ho pranzato,cenato e fatto colazione . Sono stati proposti piatti tipici bergamaschi, cucina casereccia....da leccarsi i baffi... colazione non previste prodotti salati...ma c'era tutto il resto dalla frutta,ai croassant buonissimi, marmellate,corn flask.... cappuccino del bar non delle macchinette . Pulizia delle stanze impeccabile, la struttura è gestione familiare. Appena arrivate c'è una bella veranda, si entra e c'è il bancone del bar con di fianco la sala ristorante. Noi avevamo una camera tripla composta da letto matrimoniale+ 3 letto,bagno con doccia,la finestra aveva una bellissima visuale . La disponibilità e la cortesia dei proprietari fanno da cornice a tutto il resto. Mi sento assolutamente di consigliare questa struttura che ha un ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo, per chi a voglia di scoprire un luogo meno conosciuto come la Valle Imagna.
