Globales Gardenia

This was our first family holiday abroad and Gobales G was the perfect location to give the children a special treat with half board experience the food was creative and beautifully presented. Bedrooms were spacious and clean with a joining room door which made our stay even more wonderful. Evening entertainment was family friendly and a range of talents. Pool was clean and the animation team ( Lola & George) were consistently high spirt and very entertaining. The location was close to local shops and a walk across the road to the sea. We will definitely return in the future.

My partner and I went on holiday here recently and had an amazing experience. I have coeliac disease and I couldn’t fault this hotel with how they catered for me. Had a separate menu that I chose my meals for the week (breakfast, lunch and dinner). On entry to the restaurant I notified them that I had filled out a gluten free menu, took a seat and they brought my meals over to me. The service was amazing and the meals looked and tasted amazing.

Stayed in june 2024 overall a good hotel very clean food ok but pretty much same night after night..safe in room that you pay for no fridge or keetle or hairdryer..entertainment dated..pool freezing..staff were very helpful plenty of sunbeds best area is on grass overlooking sea..about a 40 mins walk into town..bus stops right out side hotel so cheap..overall not bad would i go again probably yes.

stayed half board for a week breakfast and tea was nice plenty of choice and do english sausages also sauces are all named Heinz ketchup hp brown sauce Heinz mayo. room i stayed in was a little dated but very clean on the 5th floor only one plug socket so would advise bringing an extension cable if you have multiply devices to charge etc. beds are comfy rooms cleaned daily. no kettle or hair dryer so i fetched my own. pool area plenty of sunbeds the entertainment team do activities and try and get people involved. only problem i had was the only beer would could buy is san miguel they don’t do bottled beer or ciders round the pool area but do in the main bar but that doesn’t open till 7pm. this hotel caters more for the all inclusive. also this hotel is cashless if you bring cash you can go to reception and you can load money onto a card which you can then use to purchase drinks ice creams etc. and when you leave you get the remaining of your cash back. also if your not all inclusive and you miss breakfast you can’t buy food you can upgrade to the all inclusive package for €15 pp. there are bars and restaurants about 10 minute walk away.

Lets start with the positives, namely the staff, they are brilliant, from reception to the waiting staff, the bar staff, cleaners, everyone, they are friendly, hard working and efficient. The hotel is clean, and our room was made up every day, bedding changed and fresh towels twice in the week, it's location is right opposite the beach and accessible via a gate in the garden. The less positive, its a very tired hotel, it really does need some work doing on it, we had large cracks in the walls of our rooms and the balcony was rusty. The food seemed to offer lots of choice but after a couple of days you realise its variations of the same thing, one day cheese pizza, the next chicken, then veggie, though in fairness you could see they were trying to cater for many different tastes. The entertainment is a bit hit and miss, but the main issue we had was the main bar was so echoey it was hard to hear what was going on. The other issue is the lifts, my mum can't do stairs so had to use the lift, on one occasion we waited over 10 minutes for one to arrive. I wouldn't class this as being in Fuengirola, its at least a 45 minute walk to the harbour, (we took the bus from outside the hotel, it cost 1.20 euro each), if you want more of a lively vibe then this probably isn't the place for you, but if you want it quiet then it's great for that
