Family-friendly Hotels in Fuengirola

It is not a 5-star hotel, but it is definitely worth recommending. We had a beautiful view, the rooms were clean, the food was ok. The service was very nice and helpful. I do not understand these negative comments... for this kind of money the hotel meets its standards..

Pleasant stay in this 4-star hotel located behind the A7 motorway but which you cannot hear because all the rooms face the sea. Free parking always accessible and with plenty of parking spaces. The rooms are large and well equipped. The catering and service are up to par with themed buffets. A large swimming pool completes the set with a small pool for children. The beach is directly accessible from a secure gate. Some entertainment during the day and some evenings. A beautiful hotel for an end of stay, for example, located less than 30 minutes from Marbella and Malaga airport.

Busy hotel. Buffet style restaurant, wide variety of menu options. Salads, Fish, Pasta,Meats. Fresh fruit, yoghurt, sponges ice cream for dessert. Two bars 1 open during day 10am-2000, late bar by pool 2000-2400. Multi National guests eg Spanish UK Scandinavian East European. Hotel set on 2nd row from beach, 2 minute walk you are yon the playa. Reception staff very helpful, multi lingual. If you want a decent hotel at a reasonable price this is for you

You only need to cross a road to get to the beach. I checked in on December 30th. Although I couldn't go to the sea, I could wear a long sleeve to cope with the weather (I thought it was very cold). The location was perfect. Although we were locked in the elevator, Ctrip's customer service was too friendly (I thought they would be perfunctory) and helped us deal with it in a timely manner despite difficulties in language communication with the hotel! I’ve given 4 stars because: Pros- The apartment was fab, pool view, air con in living area and bedroom. Full size fridge freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, kettle toaster, coffee thing, washing lines and balcony furniture. Mop and bucket and sweeping brush. A little welcome package of washing up liquid, cloth, bin bag, sponge, dishwasher tab and a laundry pod. Advised on check in that for our 5 night stay our room would be cleaned once along with fresh sheets and towels and everything else was down to us to clean which in fairness I would have done anyway! We got disinfectant and toilet bleach in the supermarket downstairs for less than €2. The reviews complaining about the decor are ridiculous, is it a bit outdated? Sure but is it clean and liveable? Absolutely! Pool area was immaculate, plenty of sun beds and not many around the pool which was actually nice. Cons- The pool water was murky, we seen it being cleaned twice daily but the water itself could do with some treatment but there is a drought so we think that could be why. It didn’t stop us or others using it and everyone used to shower before entering and exiting. The bathroom is small and there is a massive thing opposite the toilet that should be removed as it made getting in and out of the bath to shower a bit dangerous. All in all 4 out of 5 stars, we would be happy to stay here again and very happy to recommend. The walk down to the ***** is 3-5 mins depending on your speed, the ‘hill’ back is not steep at all. A great location, easily accessible.

Rooms at the hotel are bright and airy, with a private terrace. They all have a satellite TV and seasonal air conditioning available from June to September. Globales Gardenia is just 3km from central Fuengirola and the famous Sohail Castle. The resort has shops, restaurants and lively nightlife. Marbella and Puerto Banús are also nearby. The hotel has a children’s swimming pool and a play area. There are daily activities for children. There is also live evening entertainment for all ages. The hotel restaurant offers varied buffet-style meals. The poolside bar serves drinks and snacks. Globales Gardenia also has a hot tub and sauna. There are golf courses nearby. The beach is ideal for water sports.
