We did the 3 day wedding package and had THE BEST time! All the staff on the big day were amazing, but a particular shout out to Annamarie our wedding coordinator who has been nothing but spectacular from planning to the end. Orchardleigh will forever have a place in our hearts. The 3 day package truly made it a celebration

David and I got married on the 18th February 2025 and our venue was the Elmhay Park. We had the most incredible and perfect day and would like to leave a review of our experience that will hopefully provide people reading this with the confidence to go ahead and book their wedding at this venue. We would firstly like to comment on how welcoming kind and professional the team were at Elmhay Park. From the moment we read about the venue, we were put in touch with Heather who owns the venue and she met with myself and David and gave us a personal tour of the venue. Heather took the time to go through all of the possible options we could have and we were so impressed by the range of possibilities that would ensure our wedding day was perfectly matched to what we wanted. We knew as soon as we were shown around on the beautiful estate that this was the perfect place to hold our wedding. It is clear that so much love and attention goes into the running and maintenance of the venue and its grounds and as we walked around the estate and took in the beauty we were always greeted by the friendly staff. It makes such a difference to feel so welcomed and we were delighted that we had come across this venue and went ahead without hesitation and booked it. After we had made the booking, the communication was absolutely fantastic from beginning to the end of our stay. We were informed of timelines and when to expect to speak to our wedding co-ordinator who would help guide us through the planning. We were also invited along to the open day which was great for inspiration and speaking to suppliers and we were also given a food and wine tasting day which was excellent as it allowed us to try the delicious food from the wide range available. Everything is catered for, we had guests who were vegan and vegetarian and some had allergies but that was no problem at all, it was all taken care of. We met Rachel Penny at the food and wine tasting day and after that, we then had an initial planning chat about the day. Rachel is one of the most kind and professional people we have ever met and it is largely because of Rachel that our day was the most perfect day of our lives. From the very start of our planning meeting Rachel went through everything with us to make sure we had exactly what we wanted on the day. Rachel was always there if we had any questions, her communication was exceptional, and it never felt like anything that I had asked was too much trouble. She was so accommodating whenever we had a query, and I had complete trust in her and any advice or recommendations she had. This makes such a difference planning a wedding as it can be a stressful experience, but this was not the case as we knew our wedding day would be everything we wanted it to be. As we were bringing our own decorations and setting up the venue (which was our choice) a few days before the wedding Rachel kindly let us have a run through set up just so we could see how we would want to lay the ta

Our fairytale wedding at Elmhay Park was perfect. We Booked a day to be shown around, and upon arrival the owner took us round the entire venue to see all parts, we then had complimentary coffee in the club house and were given details to take away. Whilst we were there we asked about a few dates in June/September 2024 (only 12 months in advance) and he told us there and then which dates were free, we knew from enquiring with other venues that to get a wedding the following year wasn’t common, so we decided there and then to pay the deposit and reserve 30th June 2024. From Booking this in April 2023 there wasn’t much need for communication between us and the venue, we had an email in October with a 9 month countdown, and we started the process of sorting out accommodation for guests. Accommodation – This was probably our biggest let down in us having to organise it ourselves, we wished the venue would have took over and sorted this out for us. It added extra stress for us organising who would fit in the rooms without really knowing the floor plans of the rooms, for example one cottages is marked as a double and twin rooms both with ensuites, however the double rooms bathroom is separate and out on the landing and we had put two couples who were strangers in this cottage being unaware of this. The village states it sleeps x amount of people but a lot of the rooms are 3 beds when most of our family were in couples in meant we couldn’t actually offer all the beds out. After a lot of stress, moving people round, chasing money we figured it out, however this took 3+ months. For a 5* venue we wished they’d of sorted this for us. We then had an email for our 6 month countdown, we contacted the club house to book the peacock and stag lounge for the night before, this again was difficult, we couldn’t be given food options or price lists, but we needed to contact our guests to offer them the option with costs etc. We managed to book the evening, but that was it. 5 months out we drove down to the venue for food tasting, this once again wasn’t exactly the special moment it would be, you were called up table by table to be served at the front, and the chef would run through each course with what could be offered as vegan, gluten free etc. My fault for not taking a pen so I missed the majority. We had already a rough idea of what we wanted to eat and didn’t get to try the main or the pudding that we wanted, so we felt we have done a 5 hour round trip to try a starter. Whilst we were there we had our itinerary meeting to make the most of the appointment, once again was a bit pointless, they ran through the form which we could have done ourselves. We asked heather if we could opt for pimms and beer for our reception drink as she said it would be roughly £5 per bottle of beer, so for each man to have roughly 3 bottles during the 2 hour reception was going to cost us £600! During the food tasting a lady came round asking if everyone had had their itinerary meetin

We got married at Elmhay Park on New Year’s Eve 2024, and overall, it was an incredible experience. Here's our breakdown of the pros and cons: Pros: -The venue is absolutely beautiful and provided the perfect backdrop for our wedding. -As the couple, we had a 3-night stay included, which was a lovely touch. -The night before the wedding, we were able to invite lots of guests to stay in the houses with us, making it feel like a truly extended celebration. -There was plenty of space to get ready the day before in Castle West, which made the whole experience stress-free. -The team is very knowledgeable about weddings and gave us helpful suggestions to make the day extra special. -They truly couldn’t do enough for us, going above and beyond to accommodate our needs. -The meal tasting experience was fantastic – we got to try the food beforehand and were able to make lots of adjustments, like allowing guests to mix and match courses (e.g., a vegan starter with a child’s dessert). -The party can go all night if you want it to! We closed the bar at 2 a.m., but they’re flexible and can keep going even later if you’re up for it. Cons: -Communication was a bit of a challenge. It took about 10 phone calls just to pay the deposit, and we only got our assigned wedding coordinator three months before the wedding. We also had to ask multiple times (2-3) to get our final quote, which was frustrating. -The house for the couple on the day after felt a little dated. There’s no phone signal or Wi-Fi, and the TV is oddly positioned above the fireplace, making it uncomfortable to watch. Depending on what you’re looking for, this might not be a big issue, but it’s worth noting. - also the towels are very thin and quite small (couldn’t wrap them around you). As a luxurious venue you’d expect better towels. However saying this, you were gifted shampoo/conditioner/shower gel minis which was a lovely touch!! Overall: We had the absolute best day and wouldn’t hesitate to choose Elmhay Park again. Despite the communication hiccups, they are incredibly experienced in hosting weddings and really know what they’re doing. Special thanks to Annamarie for helping to make our day unforgettable. Thank you so much for giving us a wedding to remember!

We got married on the 1st June 2024, at Elmhay Park, the second venue at Orchardleigh. Our friends, family and ourselves had the best day ever! It was beautiful and they’d got everything down to the fine details! Rachel, our wedding coordinator put in so much effort, not only on the day but MONTHS leading up to the wedding, we cannot thank her enough! The venue offers everything in one big package, which is the one thing we wanted when looking for a venue !! The food was to die for, and their menu choices were extraordinary! The staff were amazing, one lady made sure she came to see myself and my groom to make sure we’d eaten some canapés at the drinks reception! All these little touches made the day that extra little bit special! The cars were fantastic, and the helicopter ! That made it! They got all the guests outside waiting for us to arrive! Our guests all loved being in the same place to stay the night of! There is so many touches that makes the day run so smoothly!! There is so much I could write, but I’ll save you a novel! What a venue ! Look no further!!

We had our wedding at Elmhay Park on the Orchardleigh Estate on 21st June 2024. From the time of our very first speculative visit, to nearly forgetting our cake the day after and one of the staff coming to find us - the venue could not have done more for us. Firstly to a few staff. Heather, our incredible coordinator, made our day so stress-free and smooth that we could just enjoy ourselves. She also kept on top of our planning in the run up (prompting us when we needed it!). Karl, who did our menu tasting and food, was incredibly supportive and flexible. We had a number of tricky dietary requirements and nothing was too much trouble. Finally, to Abigail and the rest of the lovely waiting and bar staff - who (despite a very late night!) were so incredibly friendly and lovely to all our friends and family, it really made the day. What a lot of wedding reviews won't tell you is all the tiny touches that really make you feel special - from the R & R in chocolate on our puddings, the 5 minute break after the ceremony we got to spend together with some champagne (and eating personal canapes!), the hamper for our lodge the next morning, to being followed round with a personal prosecco pourer (thank you!), Elmhay really go out of their way to make sure that the couple have EVERYTHING they could need. Massive thanks from us - it was perfect. Robyn and Robin

We had our dream wedding at Orchardleigh this year in April and it was incredible! We chose it for the beautiful grounds, but the food was delicious, the staff were so attentive and kind, and the accomodation with everyone being able to stay on site was great. Our family and friends were able to book for the evening before as well so we booked out the Peacock restaurant on site for a welcome dinner, which really elongated the event and made it even more special. Their supplier list meant we could add on little details to make it even more memorable, like fireworks, making the event so magical. Neither of us initially knew what sort of Wedding we wanted, but Orchardleigh created our dream one. We would highly recommend this venue!

Beautiful estate and golf course. We stayed in the garden house with friends for a stag and hen do. The house was beautiful and the ground is extensive. The beds and pillows were comfortable and we were provided with toiletries. The estate was truly stunning and made for a beautiful weekend.
