Such a lovely pub in a lovely setting. We had a warm welcome and were well looked after. Had a delicious roast which offered good value. Good wine (Oyster Bay). Playground for children so made an afternoon of it. Would definitely recommend and return. Good amount of parking.

This pub/restaurant is on the canal. It looks small but once inside there is more space than I thought there would be. We were greeted by the friendly bar staff, we picked out table and were given menu's, for the adults and children. A wide range of options. We placed our order and advised it would be 45 mins as all food is cooked to order. Food was well presented and delicious.

My mother brought along 8 friends today to the Ship Inn..she was celebrating her 92nd birthday..on recommendation..well the pub was cold no heating..they had to wait an hour for the food to be delivered..everyone in the party said they will not return..hence it was not busy...and they had previously booked..all of the party are locals so a bad word gets round than a quicker one..all I can say as her daughter is THANKS..you will lose a lot of custom..

We met friends here, Nov 2023. What a proper gem, not sure I want to share! The staff were very welcoming and the service was superb as well as a brilliant, well priced meal. It was awesome value. A fantastic little pub and the setting is gorgeous, recommend to everyone

Good pub food, but with unnecessarily enormous portions that are frankly just too large. The pub was very quiet on the day we chose but with the number of covers available obviously gets much busier. Some different levels of floors so elderly visitors should be attentive. The toilets were poor & need a refresh.

Decided to have food after drinks, so glad we did, I had the Lasagne my husband had the Steak, it was absolutely amazing, Steak cooked right, and mine was delicious both hot. Thankyou we will be back. 😍😊 xxx

Fabulous Sunday Lunch with a great choice of meats and well cooked very fresh vegetables. We both opted for the roast beef and it was tender and delicious. Good selection of starter and deserts but we could only manage the large main course. Very friendly staff too.
