Stunning C Beautiful Chateau so well renovated, with lovely gardens and a superb swimming pool. The lady of the house was very helpful who allowed us to enter our room early. Plenty of place to park you car behind gates on the grounds of the Chateau. Only disappointment is it is only Bed and Breakfast with no evening meal.

Set in its own superbly tended grounds, Le Chateau Fresnoy was equally impressive inside. Our charming hostess, Jannick, could not have been more helpful in showing us to our most comfortable room looking out over the garden, and making a booking for us to dine locally. The whole feeling was one of opulence and care to every detail. Breakfast was laid as if for royalty, with unexpected treats of cheeses and meats. It was all quite superb, and we highly recommend it to fellow travellers.

Absolutely beautiful Le chateau is a beautiful, stylish and unique place to stay. Set in beautiful grounds, the decor is exceptional and the room had everything needed for our stay. We had a lovely welcome and the breakfast was of the best quality. Definitely a 10/10 place to stay.

Le Chateau - Fresnoy en Gohelle was a truly remarkable find. My wife and I stayed for two nights to give ourselves time to visit the Vimy Memorial. The Chateau is a beautifully restored home with a small number of exceptionally nice guest rooms. Add to that the warmth and helpfulness of Jannik, and you have an outstanding choice for accommodations. This would be our only choice if we were to return to this area.

The Chateau is charming and beautifully appointed with excellent amenities. Property also has historical significance going all the way back to WW I. Proprietor was accommodating and charming. Unique European experience. Highly recommend.

Less than one roll of toilet paper in the room. Breakfast (although typical for France) was all carbs and sugar not what was expected for a place this price. 20 mins from Arras. Nothing in between. More like a hotel rather than a B&B. Owner let us check in early, that was nice. But this was a coincidence. Good luck if you show up early. Room and home was clean and decorated well. Grounds were nice. Don’t bother asking for ice.
