Everything about this place was terrible. They appear to have about 50 rooms and when I arrived it had 0 cars in the parking lot. That should have told me to leave immediately. The office was staffed by a woman that was pleasant but spoke limited, broken English. She gave me a room on the 2nd floor (there are no elevators or covered stairs). When I entered the room the lights didn't turn on and it was freezing. I fumbled through to the bathroom to turn on a light. The room was bare bones with no amenities. I found the heat/AC control and noticed the wiring and piping was exposed. The controls did not work - not for heat or fan or anything else. I called the front desk and the attendant said she would do something about it. After 15 minutes with no response I went down to the office where she was on the phone. When she was finished I asked if she was sending someone to address the heating. She tried to explain that she was the only employee and she had called someone to fix the problem. I asked when they would arrive and she said TODAY and explained they had no other employees. She never offered me another room. I demanded she cancel my reservation and refund my payment. To be clear, if the heating system had been working, if the clerk could speak English, if the lights worked - this is still not a place to stay. It is bottom of the barrel.
