Property Description
For those seeking solitude…..you know who you are… Toast marshmallows and watch the stars at our high altitude, low light pollution mountain paradise gem, privately nestled in a tall pine and aspen forest. Very private, very quiet. At 9,300 feet, the summers are cool, the wildflowers are plentiful and the stars are bright. Sip your coffee on the deck and maybe the local moose, elk or deer will pay you a visit. Wildlife you won’t miss- mosquitos! Enjoy your stay in our mosquito free environment. Sleep upstairs on a queen sized bed or downstairs on the full sized sofa sleeper. The kitchen is fully stocked with cookware, table settings, basic kitchen appliances, cooking utensils. Keurig coffee maker, (including K-cups), microwave, toaster oven and fridge with freezer. We know how important a campfire in the mountains is and as local bans and contidions permit, safe campfires are always welcome. If staying with young children, please note the steepness of the stairs. Pets are not allowed due to issues with allergies. Star gazing is especially amazing as it is a high elevation with little light pollution. The local Cotopaxi Store is about 20 minutes away. They carry gas, groceries, deli, meats and at least one of everything else you could need. Mountain towns: looking for local shops, restaurants and strolls? Salida and Canon City are both about 45 minutes away. Looking for some hot springs? There is an indoor hot springs pool in Salida. Mount Princeton is just past Salida with its renowned hot springs. White Water Rafting: Some of the best in Colorado along the Arkansas River! Royal Gorge, home of the highest suspension bridge in the US, is a 50 minute drive from the cabin. Visiting in the Winter? Monarch Mountain is about an hour's drive.About pets:No pets allowed.About checkOut:Check out before 11:00 AM.About children:Children allowed: ages 0-17.About checkIn:Check in after 4:00 PM.About smoking:Smoking is not permitted.About minBookingAge:Minimum age to rent: 21.About events:No events allowed.

Cozy Tinyhome We enjoyed our stay at this cozy quaint tiny home. We had everything we needed and more. Loved the views from bed. They were phenomenal! Serene scenery, lots of birds, beautiful skies for stargazing. We had the best getaway weekend reconnecting, laughing and watching some good movies! Huge shout out to our host Justin, he was prompt, responsive and kind. We will be back in the fall.

Beautiful little cabin! One of my favorite Vrbo stays ever! It is tiny which we found very cool and fit us three adults just fine! The remote, woodsy, outdoor feeling was spectacular. The stars were beautiful at night and coffee on the deck watching the sunrise was breathtaking! To top it all off the cabin was extremely clean and stocked with everything you would need! Thanks for a great stay and I 100% recommend this cabin.

Mountain Gem Our most enjoyable vacation rental ever. Immaculately clean little house at top of the world with beautiful nature sights and sounds only. Perfect place to detox from everyday pressures and electronic gizmos. We felt the stress leave our bodies during our brief stay. Book this place if you crave relaxation.

Peaceful Mountain Tiny House Cozy little tiny home tucked away in the hills of Colorado. We enjoyed the seclusion and privacy. You’ll feel very connected to nature with several deer sightings, chipmunks, and hummingbirds. The cabin has a well stocked kitchen with extras like s’mores, popcorn, hot chocolate, tea, and coffee! The bathroom homemade bar soap was a cute personal touch! It’s a perfect spot for a couples getaway!
