Such an absolutely beautiful rustic mixed with modern place. Very clean We have no problem recommending this gorgeous family run rustic style guest house. Each bedroom has its own modern very very clean ensuite. The owners are so friendly and accommodating. Breakfast is an array of so many options, fresh fruit salad, toast, croissants, yoghurt, cold meats, cheese, different cereals, fresh cookies, cake, banana bread, the list goes on. Fresh coffee, filtered water, tea, cold pressed juices. All available in a cosy little dinning room. Rooms have old fashion fire place with a little decanter of port atop it. So cute. This place is sooooo much nicer than any run of the mill hotel. If you’re looking for a cosy home away from home, then I can’t recommend this place highly enough.

Overall service was great. The room was nice, clean and comfy. Staff were very friendly. Breakfasts were delicious, though the hotel accidentally charged us for then when they were supposed to be included in the package. We would have been charged if we didn’t notice the error in the bill. Otherwise, our stay was excellent and we would highly recommend the hotel!

I was very disappointed with the service. We arrived on 5th and the 6th was a public holiday - we were informed that they would not service the apartment on a public holiday - I went to suggest that we should have been compensated as we were not informed. The next day our room was not made up when we came back at 5pm. On contacting reception they sent the cleaners whose excuse was that the do not disturb sign was on but we did not use the sign. At nearly $300 per night I feel that the service should be a lot better

This hotel is not suitable for business travelers. It is an apartment-style self-service hotel. There is no restaurant. You need to go out to eat or buy food in the supermarket opposite. The front desk is small and there are few service staff. No one is available outside office hours. If you arrive at the hotel on a late flight and you do not hear English, you will not be able to get the cipher key for the check-in, nor will you be able to figure out which one of the multiple doors to enter. Do sanitation once every three days, usually clean up the garbage by yourself, and there is a large garbage can at the door. The room attendant is very nice and will teach you to use the oven and other facilities in the room. Suitable for a family holiday, do not mind cooking and cooking for yourself, staying longer, you can consider. The room is full of cooking utensils, laundry and drying facilities, suitable for housewives to show their skills! !!

I had a lovely stay at The Local Hotel. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. We had plans to spend a night on Rottnest Island before checking in for two nights at the hotel, and they kindly allowed us to store our luggage a day early. It was such a big favor and made our trip much more convenient. When we arrived, our luggage was already in our room, which was a nice touch.
The room itself was stylish and modern. We opted for a corner room, which had three large windows, filling the space with natural light. The lighting in the room was also well done, creating a pleasant ambiance.
Although the toilet and bathroom were shared, and there was some noise from the bar's music, the overall experience was enjoyable. These minor inconveniences were overshadowed by the positive aspects of our stay.
Overall, I think The Local Hotel as a lovely place to stay. We had a nice experience.

The hotel is at Fremantle North Station, not in the city. Nearby is near the marina, suitable for self-driving. The room is clean and tidy, with large space and complete facilities. You can see the river from the room. There is a sandy beach within a few minutes of going out. Locals will walk there to walk dogs sooner or later, very casual and beautiful.

I have stayed at the hotel over the past 15 years and it has gradually become a little run down here and there but the worst change is the service, nobody has a smile or greets you as a guest, your just another inconvenience for them. I stayed in a ”Deluxe” King room last week and the Bathroom was dirty and the Shower over Bath is a disgrace (see photo). I don't think I'll be staying again until some marked improvements have been made.

We got a unit that says no window and since there is no other places with decent price and this is the only one that looks decently priced we tried for 1 night and we were very surprised with the outcome. It's nice and even without a window it's by far one of the most cleanest and nicest hotel we have stayed so far. It's right beside the car park and tucked away at a corner but that didn't bother us. We love it actually. It's also on ground floor so we didn't had to climb stairs or wait for lift. The check in was seamless with automatic check in. Amenities is great. Distance was a bit far from station but it's a good exercise and walk!

First of all, you can meet super friendly and kind people in the lobby.
Then, you can see lovely room and view.
The bedding was veeeeery soft and large. I loved it !
And just 5 mins walk to the ferry terminal to Rottnest Island.
Also you can hire bike at the hotel, you can cook yourself, you can do laundry for free after swimming in the sea.
Don't miss this perfect stay. U will never be disappointed!

GGuest UserI couldn't find reception, so I went to the bar, I was warmly welcomed and checked in, in a small reception office and shown to my room. The room was beautifully decorated and well equipped, although, it would have been nice to have a comfortable chair to sit on. My room had a large balcony looking towards the Town Hall. The hotel has been beautifully restored and has a classic pub with rooms feel. It is situated centrally in Fremantle and it is a great base to explore the historic sites. The National has a great rooftop bar, with stunning views, I dined there and also in the first-floor restaurant and I enjoyed both meals. The staff are friendly and professional. I enjoyed my stay and highly recommend The National.

GGuest UserFun place to stay! Fremantle is a great place to base yourself in Perth. Kitchens are large and modern, bathrooms are as good as a gym. Ask about Rottnest tours, a short walk to the ferry and YHA has a discount deal. Rooms can be a little stuffy, but I was happy with how quiet they were! Saturday night has lots of live music nearby, so be aware of this.

The welcome drink (ie a pint each) was greatly appreciated on a hot Sunday afternoon! Our room was clean and organised. Great to have a Nespresso machine in there for a decent coffee. The tea selection was excellent too. The shower was awesome.

XXIAOBINThe hotel is in a good location. It's more than ten minutes' walk to Terminal B and the supermarket, but the rooms are very small, like a capsule hotel, the Internet is very slow, and the parking lot costs 25 days a day, which is really expensive!
