Popular Frejus 4-star Hotels

Rooms smell of stale cigarettes and vinegar. Shower is at chest height instead of above your head, like any normal shower elsewhere. Cracked tiles on the floors, paint coming off door frames and balconies. Rusty metal on the balcony. Stains on bed covers. Generally dirty bathrooms, grime on radiators. Corridors reminiscent of a maximum security prison. Very dated interior and exterior, looks like it's stuck in a 1980s time warp. When we wanted to leave the hotel early the staff tried their hardest to make it as difficult as possible, but they failed thankfully. Avoid and go elsewhere, plenty of better hotels in the area. Not a four star hotel, maybe a two star at best.

The Bastide du Clos has found its happiness in the heart of a vineyard and shares it with you as this exclusive fascinating house casts a spell on you. The Southern light floods its guest rooms and suites refurbished in contemporary lines and tones. Its characterful decor expresses the bare stone of the former wine cellar. You quickly slip into the habit of wonderful idleness sitting by the magnificent infinity pool at the foot of the vines of the Clos des Roses winery. A soft name in homage to a sea and to a land of fruits and flowers.

Stayed for three nights. A thick layer of dust coated everything. Advised reception who sent maintenance man to check. Was not resolved for the whole stay yet asked a couple of times. Plug sockets fell out of the wall leaving wires exposed. Shower in bath in a very small space but the only way that you can stand under the water is to stand with you feel on the slopes of the bath sides. You can not stand with your feet flat. It was extremely slippy and dangerous and had to hold on with one hand at all times. There was no wi fi at all in the rooms. The senior reception lady , long blknd hair was so rude. We asked to leave luggage and despite there being a locked luggage room she made me put it in the office with an open door where people passing it could see. The staff member whe we collected it was very confused as to why it was there. Waited at reception f9r ages, she is in the office on social media. She did not explain how to get into pools or exit to beach or towels. Added breakfast without asking us. Only discovered this on checkout! However, some other staff at other times were so helpful pleasant and polite. Location is great, five minutes from lots of lovely bars and restaurants. Thank you to the lovely maintenance man who sorted the plug sockets. He took the tome to answer some questions that that lady on reception shrugged her shoulders at even though he d8dnt speak much English took the time to use a translation app. Parking is paid and if the hotel don't have any, parking nearby can fill up and you might have to walk 10 mins to car park. We didn't eat. We tried to have a drink but gave up after waiting 15 mins whilst staff that said they were coming stacked plates and didn't serve us. A shame as service elsewhere in the town was amazing. An absolutely beautiful town, and short taxi to saint Raphael is worth it

New apartment, very clean in a strategic position near the sea and main services. (Shopping center, shops, restaurants etc.).
