We had a nice stay on the campingsite in our mobile home Phoenix 3. The swimmingpool was very nice but there was not enough sun protection at te swimmingpool. Only a small net for some 50 beds. The market on the campingsite is very small but there is a large Lidl market within 5 minutes driving. The activities for kids and the evening show should be spoken in english and not only in the French language.

We booked direct and had the acacia accommodation near to the bottom pool. All in all, this is a very average campsite. The sports facilities are pretty decent, the pool areas are OK although no parasols which was frustrating. The acacia chalet is a great layout and the planting throughout the site was really lovely and it was nice and peaceful being towards the end of the busy season. Its just let down by ropey entertainment and both pool and bar areas need some investment. They felt quite run down and really lacking character. The toilets were absolutely awful, I nearly turned around and went home when we first arrived and I used the toilet at the top pool with the awful smell and cleanliness and taps hanging off. Chairs at the bar were falling to bits and overall it just gave the impression of a run down place. Shame really but wouldnt recommend to others. Been to much nicer campsites with more going on and better investment in the bar and entertainment areas.

We have had an amazing holiday at La Baume. Accommodation was booked with Roan - spotlessly clean with everything that is needed for 10 days break. The swimming pool was clean and had good selection for watersides for adults and kids. Entertainment was just right for us - bouncy castle, circus, stage shows, foam party - we enjoyed all of that! Spa area was very clean and I loved all the treatments I had (ritual, reflexology, massage). Facilities include quite a lot of space for football, tennis, table tennis and space for kids to cycle for fun. The only drawback was the kids club which seemed to be disorganised. After making a couple of attempts to join the kids club activities, we gave up. Outside the camp, we ventured to Nice, Monaco and St Tropez by car. All in all, an absolutely smashing holiday - we enjoyed every minute!

I’ve given this place one Star principally because Eurocamp are incredibly misleading in their descriptions. On their website, you think you are booking a five star holiday camp resort. When in actual fact you were booking a static home on a three star resort. When you get here their website aside, you see this. All of the Statics come under a different name to La Baume and the tent and motorhome area falls under the name that you were sold. The caravans are some of the smallest I’ve ever stayed in . Very tired and very dirty. You are also not given a number of the features potentially shown on the website. For accommodation this is one of the worst I’ve ever stayed in having staying in various places in France and in the UK. It was that bad that we left a bit earlier and if we could’ve found something at a reasonable price, we would’ve moved. The day after we arrived, we were even looking for new flights back to the UK. The facilities are actually okay. The pools the kids will enjoy playing in. However, you will need to get up at about four in the morning to secure a sunbed. And the sunbeds are very banged in. The bars and restaurant are good and the staff on these are really good. It has an on-site supermarket which seems to have a lot of stuff. And as long as you have a car, you can drive out to other places and restaurants and supermarkets. However, the area does get heavy traffic. We often found driving into nearby Fréjus or Saint Rafael could take 10 to 15 minutes later on in the evening or at peak times 45 minutes. The site is huge and it would take you 20 minutes to walk from one end to the other. As such, you do get a lot of kids on scooters flying around everywhere, not conscious of cars. I appreciate this is a family place, but it was carnage at times. my biggest issue is the cleanliness and the massive deception by Euro camp . Don’t charge five star prices or make five star claims and expect people to put up with it. Call three lower the price and it would be what it would be. on another note if you were coming to camp in attendant or your own motorhome or caravan and I think this would be a relatively good result because of the facilities

We stayed for 14 nights via Eurocamp in an Ultimate 3 Bedroom mobile home. We stayed with our 3 children, aged 12, 9 and 6. I read a lot of mixed reviews about the site, so was a little worried beforehand! We flew into Nice and hired a car for the duration. Having the car was a real bonus, as whilst I'm sure you can get around via public transport, it gives you a lot more freedom and there's less messing around in the heat (waiting or buses etc) The park itself is magnificent, with two brilliant sets of pools at either end of the park. The setting is great, with lovely trees and views of high hills/mountains in the distance. The water slides are as good as some you'd find at a waterpark. The pool is clean. Sunbeds are at a premium, but we never had to run/fight for one and the attendants regularly free them up when left with just a towel on them. Yes, as per a lot of France, you have to wear speedos/trunks, but everyone is in the same boat and it's common across the entire country. The park was clean and surprisingly quiet at night, given how many stay on site. There are some bugs/mosquitos, but nothing that caused us much bother. The on-site shop is well stocked and reasonably priced. It only has one proper restaurant, which is the one thing that let it down a little, but there's a lot of choice not far from the site. The entertainment for kids was fine - my son played football a few times an my youngest did the mini-disco. I think some entertainment between 6:30-9pm would be a bonus, so the kids aren't up too late. The location of the site is great, with Frejus a 10 minute drive away. Frejus itself is stunning with its port and lovely beaches. Just down the road in St. Raphael there is snorkelling and boat tours, which were amazing. Frejus also has a waterpark which, again despite mixed reviews, we really enjoyed. There are multiple hypermarkets/supermarkets within 10-15 minutes drive, which were excellent. The accommodation was great - not spotless, but nothing major. Having an oven was great as we could eat in to keep the costs down. The kitchen was well-equipped, the air con worked well and the size was really impressive. The outside decking area was also huge. Overall, a stunning site in an incredible location. I'd recommend a car and to go as high as you can on the accommodation, but overall it was really impressive and we would definitely go again.

Great campsite. Had a brilliant week with family camping at La Baume. The pitches are large and easily fit our large family tent, tables and chairs and the car with room to spare. The swimming pools and slides were exactly what the kids wanted and spent a lot of time there. The shop was well stocked and no more overpriced than other campsites. Staff are very friendly and approachable. The toilet blocks are generally clean but could do with an update and there wasn’t always hot water (which is the reason for not giving 5 stars). If we were to return to Fréjus we would stay again.

Disappointed. We stayed here with Eurocamp. Dusty mobile home, no oven, broken toilet roll holder, broken outside table, noisy.. having stayed here previously we decided to book again. Teenager didn’t fancy wearing speedos to the pool so only managed to go twice. Scooters ridden around at all hours. Cars driving around at all hours. We had no hot water which we reported straight away. Nobody came to fix, luckily we managed to sort after a few hours. Decided to leave a week early, when the key was dropped off we weren’t even asked why we were ending our stay. The little shop was great, the souvenir shop not so. Got shouted at for getting bracelets (I didn’t see the tiny sign to ask for assistance) Won’t be back, won’t be booking with eurocamp again.

We stayed at the resort for two weeks and overall had a pleasant experience. However, we did notice some areas that could be improved. The main paths had many loose stones, and our children — as well as others — fell several times, resulting in scrapes on their knees and arms. We also felt there could be more small playgrounds for children to gather, as these were only available at the two main locations and not between the houses. In addition, one of our chairs was broken, the shower drain had an unpleasant smell, and the double beds were quite hard. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but there is certainly room for improvement.
