We arrived as a fire had broken out in the centre of old frejus, so despite arriving, getting stuck behind huge gates in the secure car park when the local electricity was cut off, we were getting our suitcases, the phone number we had was incorrect so we were stuck for a while! Our room was at the end of a very very long dark corridor ( I did think someone could have helped us at least with a torch! However apart from that a large room, slightly dated , woken every morning by the dustbin men right outside our window at the crack of dawn. The pool was nice and relaxing, the breakfast was good, some staff good, some indifferent. I think it would have been one more star if they had just helped us in the beginning, or the waiters were a bit more pleasant in the evening, one was , the others were skilled in studiously not catching your eye 😏 On reflection, good but I think if they had just said we are so sorry you arrived and had no electricity for a few hours, we’re stuck in the car park , and offered an aperitif as a gesture but it kind of summed up the lackadaisical attitude that we were just left in limbo.

Having heard this hotel had changed hands, we went for dinner to celebrate my husband's birthday. The interior is smart and welcoming, the staff friendly and the menu choices intriguing. For 34€90 you can choose starter, main and dessert from the normal menu. The food was very tasty and well presented. The service was efficient and friendly and my husband was presented with the customary firework in his dessert, as birthday boy, but also 2 glasses of champagne on the house! Our final surprise was when the chef came out of the kitchen to talk to us before we left. We felt like valued customers and will certainly return and tell our friends.

I had to stay 1 night in frejus and I had a very nice surprise with this hotel from beginning to end. Price ,room and staff. Very peaceful location faraway from the noise of the crowd. The owner told me they just reopened this hotel so is brand new the commodity are very nice. You completely feel your in the south of France . I will stay again in this hotel

By chance we found the hotel of the same name on the edge of the old town, near the Roman arena. The hotel is not only very tastefully decorated, the service is also very friendly and the cuisine is remarkable. A really good find!

On a 4-day trip with a baby we were welcomed very kindly by the whole team. Room 31 was spacious with a bathtub, as well as a very pretty terrace. The staff had set up a travel cot for our son. The elevator is large, it is easy to go up with a stroller and suitcases. It's very quiet and well soundproofed for a good night's sleep. Good surprise: The restaurant La table de Guillôme is excellent. Very nice wine list too. Adorable and charming staff who take great care of you. Magnificent setting, terrace and swimming pool very pleasant during the day and evening, even if the season was still too cool to take a dip.

We have stayed at the hotel several times in the past and have always been very satisfied. Our room this time had not been renovated and was therefore furnished in an old-fashioned style. But everything was clean and tidy. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was quite small. It wasn't exactly quiet due to the central location, but you could still leave the window open at night without it being too loud. Breakfast was quite simple, but had everything you need. The staff were all friendly and nice. We were unable to use the pool because we were travelling, but the garden is a wonderful green oasis. The only thing that bothered us was the smell of cigarettes in the area outside our room, which of course also got into the room. If guests were smoking there, it's not the hotel's fault. The restaurant was very good - see separate review.
