Hotel Bayerischer Hof

We stayed in Freising because it was a short bus ride to the Munich airport and we had already spent time in Munich. The hotel and location were perfect. We arrived around 2 pm, our room was ready, and the gentleman that checked us in gave us great restaurant recommendations. We shopped and ate along the street right in front of the hotel. It was a fabulous day. Our room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and breakfast was good.

We had two rooms for 7 days during EURO 2024. I am not happy with hotel conditions very old . Check in took me almost one hour unorganized. Check out not train lady with zero experience. Ac in the room poor . Bar doesn’t have enough people working . This hotel max can have 3 star.

(+) Family-run traditional hotel in historical town center. Stylish decorated interior. Very clean, quite and well-lit rooms. Tee and coffee facility in the room, socket next to bed. Good breakfast, helpful personal. (-) fitting carpets

Very charming hotel in the centre of freising. Good location for walking around shops and restaurants. Although we arrived by taxi looks tricky to drive to. Visited the hotel around Christmas time and very well decorated . Breakfast was good and rooms very nicely done. Will stay again.

Had an early morning flight out from Munich airport, so we chose this place based on reviews and location. We were not disappointed. The room was very nice, plenty of room and quiet. There was parking (for small fee ~7 euro) in the back of the hotel. The staff was super friendly and very helpful. In fact they were kind to loan us an umbrella because of the rainy weather. Breakfast was included and while not a huge buffet, it was fresh, delicious, and sufficient for all of us! It was a short walk to the train station, where it was easy to catch a non-stop regional train to the Munich HBF, and back. This was very convenient, especially after enjoying an Augustiner Maß at one of the Oktoberfest Kellers. We had a rented car and the road to the airport was easy to navigate, not crowded, and a short trip. Overall a great place to stay and strongly recommended. I'd consider staying here on future trips to Munich, because of the reasonable price, excellent hotel, and easy convenience to getting into and out of Munich (without having to navigate the congested city streets, or changing trains) and the airport.

Bayerischer Hof is a timeless hotel in the center of beautiful Freising. Great hotel staff! So helpful and friendly! Beautiful and fun antiques scattered throughout. Comfortable bed and room. Parking available behind hotel. Definitely a value for the price.
