The best hotel on the lake. Our umpteenth visit because it has the best views of the lake and is so quiet. Staff were very friendly and helpful, with nothing too much for them. Wonderful stroll on the boardwalk into delightful Rapperswil, where the wild birds and fish you will see will delight, alongside the lake and mountain vista. Thanks to Eva, Katia and the team who probably are the hardest working team you will find. The restaurant, where we ate twice, is excellent, and we've written a separate review for it.

Our fifth visit and superb. Excellent room, very clean, views of Lake Zurich of course, superb restaurant food, great walking distance access to the beautiful city of Rapperswil and super service. Many thanks to Anna Mora, Catalina Zechner, Loredana Bernado, Romain and Gunther, for making our stay so wonderful - nothing was too much for them and they made us feel very welcome. We will be back. The service and food at this restaurant is first class. My husband and I enjoyed every moment from appetizer to dessert and the view is unbeatable. Not to mention that I have Celiac disease and cannot eat gluten. Our waiter knew what I could and couldn't eat and assured me I would be happy with my meal. Stop by for lunch or dinner (especially on a sunny, warm day) and you will not be disappointed.

Fresh fish from Lake Zurich with vegetables and potatoes and a local white wine. We were satisfied. Friendly, very friendly and courteous service. Ambience: pleasant. Price/performance: good. Recommend: definitely.

I was very generously given a room upgrade because my original booking hadn't quite worked out. So for the price of a standard single room I enjoyed a junior suite with its own balcony and a great view of the lake and mountains. A super unbureaucratic solution to the problem. I was able to really enjoy the two days in total relaxation. Thank you very much👍

The hotel itself has seen its best days, but is still recommended. Although the room facilities and infrastructure need an update, the hotel and its restaurant can be recommended. The staff were so incredibly friendly and accommodating, something we have rarely experienced. This accommodation thrives on the staff, who do their best to make you feel welcome and comfortable. The food and service in the restaurant were excellent! A must-visit restaurant! The location of the hotel is sensational anyway.

Good food in a really beautiful place right by the lake. Unfortunately, the service was pretty terrible. It took ages just to take our order, and the restaurant was not at all full. The two waiters who served us were unfriendly and sometimes even rude. Every time the waiter came by, he tried to sell us a product we didn't want. In short, hospitality at zero. What a pity!
