Hotels Near Heidegger-Eiche in Freiburg im Breisgau

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for the weekend. The rooms was very clean. The hotel is new, staff works fast and very well. We are glad that we booked with breakfast! There was a lot of options on breakfast for me and my husband (I love salmon for breakfast, and it was really tasty). We will definitely come again.

Its close to the station but couldnt hear trains or traffic so that was ok. So its a good location. But thats all there is. The hotel is dirty, small rooms and the cleaning people start cleaning early. So if you still sleeping you gonna wake up hearing the vacum cleaner....plus its way too expensive for what you get...i wouldnt stay there again

What a find this was......... Easily accessible from the rail station & only a short walk from the city centre. Rooms are not the largest, but are thoughtfully designed with excellent storage and very adaptable lighting. Beds are very comfortable & there are external shutters to give a 'blackout' effect. Showers are easy to operate with a more than adequate stream & steady temperatures. But what really sets this place apart is the staff -- from management down there is a 'can-do' attitude which makes a stay here absolutely stress-free. A special shout-out to the gentleman manning the breakfast room during our stay -- polite, cheerful & nothing was too much trouble.

Very nicely furnished rooms with enough deposit facilities. The sticks had USB-A ports installed. Also two good seating facilities in the room. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. Only the huge picture of a woman in the bathroom first unusual, after a short habitual phase then also OK. The bathroom was also large, just as the shower. Very much space for cultural bag and co to deposit. We would definitely come back. Parking with € 19 per night may be a little expensive.

It's great for the price. Everything clean and very new. The breakfast wasn't that good. It's just outside in a new area by the freight station and the nearest tram stop is about 10 minutes away. But there are many new hotels in this area that are attractively priced.

We stayed at B&B Hotel Freiburg-Süd for one night on our way through the Black Forest. We had a prior reservation, and the check-in process was very smooth and hassle-free. The room was quite small, as was the bathroom, typical of a B&B. It had a small TV mounted in front of the bed. There was a window facing the tram terminal; the movement was constant but not bothersome. The hotel offers free parking with plenty of available space, which is very convenient if you have a car. The hotel is located somewhat away from the city center, but one of the trams that stops near the hotel can take you to Münsterplatz (Cathedral Square) in about 25 minutes. The only way to reach it is by public transportation; it is not feasible to walk (it's more than 5 kilometers). Although it is a ”bed and breakfast,” the rate does not include breakfast. However, they offer it for an additional fee. If you don't mind the distance to the city and the size of the room, it is a budget-friendly option in Freiburg.

Chain hotel, not in the busy city, but recommended for self-driving! The room is small but clean, and the guy at the front desk is super enthusiastic, which gives the hotel extra points! There is a parking lot in front of the hotel, and breakfast is one of the richer ones in the multi-day itinerary

Das Hotel macht einen sehr guten Eindruck, sehr freundliches Personal, exzellentes Frühstück, Wellness, Schwimmen und Fitness sind wie auch das Frühstück im Preis inbegriffen. Fazit bis hier hin: Ein sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Ganz anders das Restaurant. Leider hatte von den drei vorhandenen nur das Cross-over geöffnet. Ein Blick in die Karte zeigte Preise für Hauptgerichte zwischen Ende Zwanzig Euro bis 48 Euro, also eher teuer. Die Gerichte lasen sich gut, zumindest meines für 48 Euro war miserabel. Der Octopus war trocken-gegrillt und salzig, der Hummer zwar perfekt gegart, aber langweilig abgeschmeckt, der Couscous einfach nur gesalzen (und da könnte man sehr leicht tolle Sachen mit machen), es fehlte jede Säure und der Aijoli-Schaum schmeckte nach überhaupt nichts. Ein Jammer um die eingesetzten Produkte. Da das Hotel und nicht dies Restaurant hier im Fokus steht, gibt es nur einen Punkt Abzug. Dem Restaurant hätte ich 2 Punkte gegeben: Einen für den netten Ober und einen für den Wein.

Now a lot of places have a great concept but do lack in the execution and implementation, not the Bohrerhof. I only wish this place had been around a few decades ago when we used to travel more frequently through this region.... The hotel is brand new with extremely well designed and spick-and-speck rooms with all the comforts that you can imagine, i.e. two different types of pillows per se in your room; USBC re-charger at your bedside (yup, you have to look for them they are well integrated into the bedside lamps :-)); a safe that for once easily fits my laptop and a nice clean fresh design that still feels homely with lots of wood elements, indirect lightning and a great night light function, a gorgeous rain-shower.... Cudos to the architect/ designer who ensured that pretty much all rooms are suitable for mobility impaired guests (wide doors, no clutter, shower with no barrier) and the wheelchair accessible room takes it a notch up and is truely suitable for people in a wheelchair (i.e. roll in shower and handles). A lot of hotels do not understand the difference between mobility impaired rooms and wheelchair accessible - but this one did most definitely. As a bonus for us, our pet was also welcome.... As if that is not enough, the hotel is embedded in a beautiful concept with a working farm and a small farm shop and a restaurant. At the moment the decoration is all with pumpkins and it gives it a really lovely flair... We visited the restaurant for dinner and breakfast. What was impressive was that the kitchen is open from 12.00 to the evening so that you can have dinner at a time that suits you. They have great local produce and the chef knows his/ her/ their ingredients! It is even nicer that it is an open kitchen where you can have a glance at what goes on. The breakfast buffet was superb, a whole range of breads and bread-rolls, eggs in 4 different style, plenty of cold meant and great cheese selection, yoghurt, muesli, fresh fruit, tea and coffee... The staff we encountered in all areas is extremely friendly and very helpful. Now, I know we have bookmarked this hotel for our next trip here in the region....and I am sure that we will enjoy it again!
