Property Description
The Whidbey House is a luxurious 1,800 SF, three-bedroom, two-bath handicap-accessible vacation home. Nestled against a large, forested tract, the Whidbey House feels like a quiet oasis. The backyard offers some of the best birding in Washington, and deer visit several times daily. Whidbey House was built in a modern but comfortable Northwest bungalow style. The house is dominated by a luxurious great room that includes a fully equipped gourmet kitchen with granite counters, breakfast bar, and stainless appliances. High ceilings and big windows in all the rooms give the house a spacious feel. Accommodations include three bedrooms and two baths. The five beds include a king in the luxury master suite and a queen in a second bedroom. The third bedroom has two twin bunkbeds and a twin sleeper chair. A Pack and Play portable crib is also provided. The king bed has a new, luxury Saatva mattress. The queen bed has a new pillowtop mattress. In addition, a covered front porch on the first floor offers a great place to relax and watch the world go by. The house has a high efficiency heat pump system for air conditioning and heating. A two-car garage behind the Whidbey House is entered from a private driveway. There is plenty of parking for six cars or for a 40-foot RV. Lovely home This is a beautiful and clean property. There were detailed instructions which we appreciated. This is a first rate property. It is by the golf course but the property is surrounded by trees so we didn’t see the course from the house. There are hiking trails close by as is the water but you do have a short drive to get to those activities. All in all a beautiful stay.

Beautiful property We had an amazing stay. The house was beautiful and so clean! Check in was very smooth and easy. We loved the outdoor area and the firepit. We also loved the toys and things that our 2 year old enjoyed playing with. We only stayed 1 night and I wish it had been longer. The next trip we take to Whidbey, I am going to check this listing first. I highly recommend.

Fully appointed, beautiful and relaxing home. The chefs kitchen was the best! Great communication from the hosts. Langley is a super cute town close by with lots of dining and fun boutiques. My daughters are each at WWU in Bellingham and UW in Seattle this was the perfect halfway point for us all to meet up for a relaxing girls weekend.

Trip to Whidbey in February. The property was clean and well stocked. Bed was very comfortable. Could use a grab bar coming out of shower in primary bedroom. Suggest coming in daylight as hard to see some road signs in the dark. The responsibility for taking trashcans out/in should be by cleaning people, not guests. Especially older adults.

Whidbey House was FANTASTIC! This is one of the best properties we have ever stayed at with VRBO. The home was clean and well equipped with everything we needed. The layout of the home was very comfortable, and we felt right at home. Great instructions and awesome communication with the host. We needed to extend our stay one day and Richard and Anne were so accommodating. Will definitely stay again and would recommend 100%.

Great stay We only stayed one night, but everything was very clean, comfortable and well thought-out. We are considering a return stay in the summer months when we could stay longer and enjoy what the area has to offer.
