Hotel Flora

We booked this hotel as we were visiting someone outside of Berlin and this seemed a good option. We wanted Wellness and an on site bar as on our arrival day we wanted to park after a 7 hour drive and relax. The one big positive was our massages as they were amazing. We then wanted to go to the pool and were told we had to pay 6 euros deposit for bath robes which we found strange in a Wellness hotel. We then went to the pool and found no towels there so we had to go back to reception to get towels. We then decided to go upstairs to the Sauna but t was locked so yet again we went back to reception who told us we needed to pay a deposit for the key even though we were hotel guests and they had our credit card details. By this point we said we would just go back to the room. We wanted to ring down for drinks from room service but the telephone is not connected and the mini bar was empty. So we decided to get ready and go downstairs to the bar which called last orders at 9.10 pm on a Friday night !! Then when we checked out we were charged 6 euros each for the bath robes and 2 euros each for a towel which we used in the pool area. This hotel should not advertise as a Wellness hotel as everything is charged extra and should make clear that the bar is not a normal hotel bar which stays open for its guests. We would recommend driving a bit further and staying in Berlin which is what we will do in the future.
