Short 15/20 min walk to town The dinner(mussels) next door at the Delta was very good and convenient. Also check the local breweries in particular the Graystone. We also enjoyed the free tour of the governor building nearby.

We will be back…. For longer!
We wish we had stayed more than one night. And wish I had booked spa treatments. We will absolutely stay again. What a treasure of a place.
And an umbrella was provided because it was raining. Thank you!!

Very nice Victorian house. The woman who runs it (Danielle) was very friendly and cooked a nice homemade breakfast to order. My only complaint is the sink didn't drain. Otherwise a very nice stay.

We enjoyed our stay! It was our first time staying at a bed and breakfast which was a different experience than what we are used to but the staff were nice & our room was very clean and warm!

We had such a lovely time at By the River! We did a couples massage at the 301, had a beautiful breakfast and the space is gorgeous. (Not to mention, the amazing bathtub). Thank you!

Nice hostess
Beautiful old house but would be a warmer stay during the months outside winter. The hostess, Danielle, was excellent and helped us stay warm.
Cancellations cannot be made after 72 hours before check-in. Is rather restrictive. We departed 1 day early, because it was too cold to downhill ski. Even though we departed at 9am, 1 day early, we had to pay for the not-used departure day. In hindsight, we should have stayed at a hotel. We would have not lost the $$
