Hollerstown B & B is one f the most welcoming places we've stayed at. We stay with Betty and Phil every time we are in the Frederick area. I have dietary restrictions and Betty in her creative way cooks/bakes the most delicious breakfast for me. My husband can eat anything and Betty cooks his breakfast separately for him and the other guests. The home is extremely comfortable with easy parking which is important in Frederick. Betty and Phil are there for conversation, recommendations, for whatever you may need. I highly recommend.

Phil and Betty are the ultimate B&B hosts. Their lovely Victorian home is very authentic and comfortable. They were very helpful with advice on good places to eat and wineries to visit. They are very welcoming and breakfast was very good, too. Don’t even take a down payment to reserve a room. Always seem to be handy for a conversation or help.

This was our third time staying here. The friendly hosts and the wonderful breakfast are just a start. The rooms are very clean and well appointed. The location is convenient off the highway and also to walk down to restaurants in town.

When planning a much-needed getaway, we often overlook the fact that some of the best experiences exist right in our own backyard! This marvelous B&B exudes all the historic charm of a well-preserved/restored Victorian mansion and is equipped with the convenience of all of the modern amenities! The inn is situated on a lovely historic residential street within close proximity to fine restaurants as well the cultural gems of this wonderful town! Betty & Phil (owners/innkeepers) are the consummate hosts — very helpful & personable! My wife and I hope to return for another stay very soon!

My husband and I had a lovely one night stay at Hollerstown Hill. Phil greeted us at the door and gave us an excellent overview of the house. Since we were the only guests that night we even got to choose our room. We enjoyed being within an easy walk of many dinner restaurants in cute downtown Frederick. The room was spacious, comfortable and quiet, and the breakfast prepared by Betty was delicious— a fruit parfait and a frittata.

We spent one night in this old restored home with private baths for all 4 rooms.Room was very clean and comfortable and very quiet. The hosts were super friendly and interesting to talk to. The breakfast was excellent and served between 8 and 10 at ones leisure. There were extras like coffee and tea 24hrs as well as candy ,trail mix and water. There was even a fridge with beer, and wine that guests had left for others to enjoy. The pool table was a nice touch for some laughter in evening. Ample free parking and easy walk into downtown area. Highly recommend

Just an absolutely wonderful and warm experience! Great room, delicious food, snacks, games and most of all, lovely conversation with Phil and Betty! This location is extremely convenient for simply walking into the Historic District. Will definitely return.
