Das Self-Ceck-in funktionierte wunderbar. Im Treppenhaus roch es nach altem, abgestandenem Zigarettenrauch. Als wir das Zimmer betraten, wurde es leider nicht besser, sondern roch nach alten Möbeln/Stoffen. Es schien sauber zu sein, aber unter dem Bett waren einige Krümel und Staub. Das Bad war jedoch sauber und die Dusche funktionierte super. Beim Frühstück haben wir leider niemanden gefunden, der uns Spiegelei und Speck zubereiten konnte, obwohl es über den QR-Code im Zimmer angepriesen wurde. Auch die Sauberkeit liess etwas zu wünschen übrig.

Wir haben 2 Nächte im Hotel Blumenstein verbracht und es hat uns sehr gut gefallen: super Lage, wenn mit mit dem Zug anreist - gegenüber Bahnhof, aber trotzdem ruhig, Self-Check-in, sauberes Zimmer und Bad, von der Grösse OK, da man sowieso tagsüber ausser Hotel ist. Wir schätzten sehr die guten Leselampen am Bett (fehlt leider in vielen Hotels). Selbstbedienung beim Frühstück - alles sehr lecker und frisch, grosse Auswahl. Ausgezeichnetes Steak-Restaurant im EG. Personal sehr nett. Wir kommen gerne wieder! A. Gsell

L'hôtel est situé face à la gare, donc un peu bruyant. Pour vous enregistrer à l'accueil une borne vous sert d'hôtesse. L'accès aux chambres se fait via un hall d'immeuble (déco années 70...) Notre chambre était assez spacieuse mais toute en longueur si bien que les deux lits étaient disposés, le long du mur, l'un au bout de l'autre ! ... Sinon la chambre était propre et la literie correcte. Au niveau du petit déjeuner, tout aussi impersonnel que l'accueil dans une grande salle d'un triste.... Le buffet est en place dans les armoires réfrigérées, des plateaux sont à disposition. Bref, c'est un concept qui n'est pas le mien. Par contre, Frauenfeld est idéalement situé pour visiter Zurich, Konstanz, les chutes du Rhin,...
