Mont d’Or provided us with comfortable accommodation in a great location. My only criticism would be that the “classic” room was a little cramped. An excellent breakfast and friendly staff more than compensated. Franschhoek is a fabulous place and well worth a visit.

Carol, Johannes and the staff are lovely hosts, with good communication prior to arriving, and complete attention during the stay. Our rooms were sizeable and provided every you need. I would certainly recommend and would stay again without hesitation.

One road back from the Main Street, this is a great location in Franschoek. The Manager/Owner is there to greet you, the rooms are comfortable, the breakfast excellent and there is a nice swimming pool and sunbathe area. An honesty bar and good parking make this such a nice informal place to stay. And they accomodate children!

We stayed with two small girls and the staff was just brilliant. We felt welcome like long lost family members, staff is incredibly friendly, the hotel is small and really well cared for with few but great services and an amazing welcome attitude. We had two more weeks at various luxury hotels and 20 times the cost of our franschook stay - yet we ALL felt this was the best part of our entire trip!
