What a beautifull guest house. Neat and clean and very helpful staff. Breakfast was delicious. Will return.

Lavender Farm was a breath of fresh air. It has an air of calm and relaxation. Nothing hurried, but everything there when we wanted. We were fortunate to stay in the newly-completed suites overlooking the lavender field and pond, and we were blown away by the design of the accommodation. The bathroom with massive windows which were behind a large privacy wall resulted in a bright, light and airy space to be private and shower with blue skies visible, but also with complete privacy. The layout of the suite was so clever, it could have been the design of a house to live in rather than an hotel room, and beyond the floor to ceiling sliding doors was a private patio with a peaceful view over the pond and lavender field. Bliss! Breakfast was delicious and pleasant, efficient yet unhurried. The pool was so welcome in the heat we experienced, but all the pool loungers were already taken. A few more would be great.... We would absolutely stay here again, it was a wonderful stay.

Very kind stuff, nice room, clean and beautiful, wonderful Lavender Garden, excellent breakfast (fresh fruits, different variety of eggs). I hope to come back. It‘s paradise on earth.

A beautiful farmhouse nestled at the bottom of the hills of Franschhoek. Unfortunately weather was not on our side but it did not take away from the true serenity of this property. The rooms are standalone chalet style with ample space and modern furnishings. Breakfast was beautiful with good choice. A 15 min walk from the main town it is ideally situated for a few days in the country side or a visit to the wine tram, which we did! A small side note, complimentary water would have been great as it us chargeable in the mini bar. Overall a comfortable stay and we will return. Thank you!

Lavender Farm Guest House is in a lovely location. Stunning scenery, lovely bed, and very tasty breakfast as well as super friendly staff. This also serves as a great location to visit other nearby locations such as Stellenbosch. 5 stars!!

Lavender Farm Guest House exceeded our expectations. The rooms were beautiful and spacious, with a lovely pond view. The linen and bed did not disappoint! Frauke's service was exceptional and I highly recommend Lavender Farm if you want to experience luxury and comfort - and let me not forget to mention the outside shower and beautiful surroundings.

Schalk, Frauke, and the ENTIRE staff are the most thoughtful and kind bunch. We had a large group staying here for our wedding who came from all over the world. Without fail, everyone said Lavender was one of the best guest houses they'd ever stayed at. Not to mention the best breakfast they'd ever had! The views, the rooms, and (just as impressive) the staff make this one of our favorite spots of all time.

We stayed here for the second time in 2024, having stayed before back in 2014. It was just as lovely as we remember, even having expanded a little. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was tasty. The location is great - a short stroll into Franschhoek during the day and short taxi ride back.

Lavender Guest Farm was a perfect place to stay in Franschhoek. Convenient yet secluded and quiet. Understated luxury in the room and an excellent breakfast. Loved walking round the lavender fields. Highly recommended.
