Beautiful rooms, beautiful setup, amazing activities, lots of of options on their menus, housekeeping service was brilliant I had great time , went with my family they absolutely enjoyed them selves . I loved their pillow so fluffy and comfortable

Holden Manz Country House is exceptional in every way! Experiencing a wine tasting having walked through the vineyard will be remembered for a long time. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly and the house is beautiful. We wish we could have stayed longer!

I was traveling alone. I stayed only 24h after run a ultramarathon in Cape time. This place was matching my expectations in a level that I couldn’t imagine. The place is like a gallery art. The room was great. The staff lovely. Clean. Breakfast very good. The winery a dream. I will be back with my family. Thanks! MJ

The staff were nice and the setting is outstanding, amazing view, but the smell in our room was awful. They explained it was just rethatched with green thatch and they the staff were used to the smell. I asked for another room but they didn’t have anything available. They gave us a scented candle and opened the window. This helped a bit, but the bathroom still smelled. I feel they should not have used the room for guests until the smell is dissipated. Residue from the thatch kept dropping on the pillows and bedside table. They also have large dogs that bound around sometimes inside without warning and this can be triggering if you have had bad experiences with dogs which one of our party had.

We stayed at Holden Manz for two nights, and we wish we could have stayed longer. The views are incredible, and it was so easy to jump in the car and go into town when needed. The room was wonderful (comfortable bed, great shower, everything you’d need). The owners were fantastic, and we loved meeting the dogs as well! This was a fantastic place to stay in Franschhoek!

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel extremely relaxed. Frank greeted us with a warm friendly welcome, the glass of rose on arrival was also a lovely touch. We were helped with restaurant and activity recommendations. We came with our 14 year old sons so took 2 rooms. The whole house is beautiful with art at every turn. There is a gorgeous view at every angle. It's so peaceful from the water feature with coy carp to stunning scenery all around. Breakfast table was all set up for us outside with the lake and mountain backdrop. Breakfast selection was Al a carte and absolutely delicious. French toast was my fave! We will definitely be visiting again when back in SA!

This is my third visit to Holden Manz Country House which shows how much I love it. Beautiful setting, gorgeous house and rooms, v cool art & top wines - yet somehow you feel very much at home. (I wish I could live here...!) The owners Gerard & Migo and their kids are super welcoming and managers Frank and Charlene and the whole team make you feel so spoiled. They nail the casual elegance vibe and I'm already looking forward to another trip!

Very relaxing stay. The farmhouse is set at the edge of the vineyard at the opposite end of the field to the winery and tasting rooms.It is very quiet with only 5 rooms available. The staff, who are all welcoming and informative, get to know you quickly and it becomes a home from home. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean. The main aspect of the house is the beautiful South African artwork decorating each room with a combination of paintings and sculptures. The surrounding mountains provide a stunning backdrop and don't forget the fantastic wine.
