Our second stay at this property. We love the homely feel, plenty of space, clean and tidy. Well equipped kitchen and relaxing swimming pool. Large comfortable double bed as well as the twin bedded room. Very good value for money. A 3 minute drive from the centre of Franscheok,

We stayed for three nights and it was the perfect location to visit the town and surrounding vineyards.

Beautiful location, a bit of road noise. The Poole area had a lovely backdrop of the mountains and vineyard. The dogs were friendly and followed us around for company. Good base to explore the area especially good for Babylonstoren and the Lion Park rehabilitation centre at Drakenstein. Also loved the Dylan Lewis sculpture park towards Stellenbosch. We did a South African cookery course with Nicola Spilsbury in Franschhoek, fantastic food.

A beautiful cottage for a family to escape from the city, close to all shops, restaurants and entertainment but also far enough to enjoy the amazing views, absolutely loved the pools, and the farm is just beautiful. A warm welcome from all staff and a lovely wine gift at arrival. We will absolutely be back. Thank you ❤️

The cottage was the perfect stay for us girls to be in close proximity to all activities in Franschhoek. The amenities and facilities at La Galinere were fantastic.

We had a wonderful stay at La Galiniere. The location is perfect, surrounded by grapevines and away from the noise of the town, although very close to Franschoek.

I enjoyed a relaxing stay here. It was raining a lot the one day, so it was nice to have the luxury of a fireplace. The accommodation is ideally located close to the town and caters for all one's basic needs. The pool must be nice in summer!

We enjoyed everything at this wonderful cottage. Every single detail and all the extras that were put in place we so thoroughly enjoyed. Rietha was a wonderful host.
