What a lovely boutique hotel/ b & b in the heart of the village. Great massive bedroom the pictures do not do it justice and a bathroom the size of a bedroom. Lovely outdoor pool areas, and a wonderful breakfast to start the day. Would definitely stop here again.

A lovely boutique hotel in Franscheok, which was delightful to stay, and the staff made us feel very welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. We would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay and take in the sights, and wine tasting experiences.

Undoubtedly the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at, this place is stunning, everything designed and decorated to perfection. Complimentary drinks a delightful bonus, all the Lemon and Verbena products were lovely and the scent will forever take me back there. The staff were really attentive and couldn’t do enough for us. Location perfect for access to the Main Street and the Franshhoek wine tram tours. We only stayed 2 nights but I wish we’d had longer.

We stayed here for 3 nights as part of our honeymoon and the hotel is outstanding. We would highly recommend! All of the employees are genuinely friendly and go the extra mile We stayed in a suite with a pool ( although it was raining most of our stay) but the room itself was very comfortable. They had a lovely turn down service & the breakfast was very, very good! If you are looking for somewhere to stay in the heart of Franschhoek, put this hotel at the very top of the list. Thank you for a magical stay.

This is an outstanding hotel. Conrad and his team went out of their way to ensure that guests were looked after, and were always on hand to offer advice or help with bookings. The decor of the hotel is tasteful, bright and welcoming. There is an honesty bar with a plentiful supply of drinks. Breakfast was excellent. The hotel only caters for B&B, but restaurant advice was comprehensive. We were delighted with our room which was huge, and superbly furnished. We had a late flight, but were looked after until our pick up. Our fellow guests were equally effusive in their praise. A memorable experience!

We spent the most wonderful two days at The Last Word, Franschhoek. From the moment we were met at the gate, to the moment we left, all staff were absolutely wonderful. Every part of the hotel was immaculate and the colour scheme was very jewel like. Our room was very big with everything you could possible want. A peaceful paradise in the middle of a very busy village. We will definitely be back. Thank you.

A fabulous hotel hidden off the main street of Franschhoek. The greeting from the owners was lovely, and included a tray of tea and cake - very welcome after our drive from Cape Town. The bedroom was comfortable - and although the colour scheme shouldn't have worked - it did - and the bed was very comfortable. Again we were left cake when the beds were turned down. Breakfast is an event - with each table having their own things to select from - including a tier of bread, fruit and pastries. This is one of the nicest hotels we have stayed in for a long time

A lovely small residence hidden behind the Main Street in Franschhoek. Staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. Great rooms, and a very chilled atmosphere full stop. Complimentary drinks and snacks were a lovely touch too. The swimming pool was really just a plunge pool but valued by those who like a dip. Breakfasts were excellent. We'd definitely return.
