Fleur du Soleil Luxury Guesthouse

A luxurious experience in the heart of Franschhoek, with impeccable attention to detail and mouthwatering breakfasts served daily. Victoria and Anton were the ideal hosts, and our overall experience could not have been more delightful.

My husband and I went to South Africa and stayed at Fleur du Soleil in Franschhoek for 4 nights last week (August 2025). There were many hotels, b&b, and Airbnb’s to choose from and we spent many hours researching- but boy are we glad we settled on Fleur Du Soleil. The great customer service began weeks before our arrival with communication from Stan and Anton on when we’d like our spa services? And while they noticed we requested a view of the mountains in our booking notes- but there isn’t one with the suite we chose. Would we like this other suite instead? We upgraded and were so happy we did, it was a stunning suite with a gorgeous view. Very comfortable, they proved a welcome port, wine was available for purchase as well as snacks. We felt very comfortable and taken care of. When we arrived, three members came out to greet us and grab our luggage, and they were also lovely and friendly. Veronica was there to help us with anything we needed - recommending restaurants, providing suggestions on which wineries to visit, helping us move the day and time of massages. Every night we selected our breakfast choices and requested it in our room rooms, and they would bring everything up, including fresh baked croissants and jams, eggs, bacon, orange juice, fresh fruit, and a delicious French pressed coffee that we missed when we travelled on to other parts of South Africa. The 5 pounds gained was well worth it and I would do it again in a heartbeat. If I’m lucky to travel to Franschhoek again in the future, I will 100% book my stay at Fleur de Soleil.

We recently spent a fabulous 2 night stay at this amazing guesthouse. Victoria and her team were absolutely brilliant. Our flight got cancelled hours before departure from the UK, we contacted Victoria, and within minutes, our reservation was amended for our new arrival date. Due to availability, we had to stay in different suites for our 2 night stay. The team moved all of our luggage. We didn't have to lift a finger - that's 5* treatment. The guesthouse is less than a 5 minute walk away from the bars, restaurants, and attractions. The suites were stunning, and the beds were so comfy myself, and my wife had the best night's sleep.The bathrooms were very spacious with excellent showers. We couldn't fault the breakfast it was made to order and so fresh, great portion sizes which got you through to lunchtime. We will definitely recommend you guys to our UK friends, and we both can't wait to return the next time we visit Franshoek. Thanks again for an amazing stay.

my wife and I spent three unforgettable days at the 5-star Fleur du Soleil Luxury Guesthouse in Franschhoek. From the initial booking, the communication was exceptional, a testament to Anton and Victoria's dedication and their exceptional staff. Everyone, including Stanley, was seamlessly informed of our itinerary and worked tirelessly to ensure its flawless execution. Anton's recommendation for a private wine tour, instead of the tram, proved inspired and made our celebration truly special. Fleur du Soleil exceeded our expectations, creating a truly memorable experience.

This was truly an amazing find! Victoria and Anton have outperformed all expectations! The room was quaint and fabulous, the town absolutely pastoral, and the staff was AMAZING! If you find yourself in the Franschoek region (and you should absolutely find your way there!), it would be a shame for you to miss this little slice of heaven!

Absolutely loved my stay! The hosts were incredibly welcoming, the breakfast was delicious, the space was spotless, cosy, and felt very safe and peaceful throughout my entire visit. Highly recommend!
