Fantastic B&B in the center of Franschoek. There is wine tasting at dieu donné in the same street, supermarket on walking distance and most important the wine tram in walking distance. Very big and clean room, lovely breakfast and very nice management and (Dutch) owners. Good size swimming pool in the garden and Evelyne at breakfast is so friendly. Extremely safe neighbourhood, we would not doubt to come back here. Lieven & Ann

Spacious and clean accommodation and at a competitive price. Super breakfasts, quite a challenge to eat everything offered. (Didn't manage it) We were in Superior Queen Suite 3, which offers a good sized bedroom with a sitting area with TV and a dressing area with desk. Good bathroom with excellent shower.

We had a great stay here. Room and grounds were lovely as was the pool area. Breakfast was superb with great choice and freshly cooked. The eggs Benedict were the best ever. The wine tram is just at the end of the road. An easy walk into the centre for restaurants.

This guest house is absolutely exceptional as was the attentive nature of the staff. I have travelled all over the world and I don’t think I have ever stayed in a better guest house at such a reasonable price…. we essentially had a suite which was immaculate.

We had a fantastic stay at Residence Vive La Vie. A very friendly and warm welcome on arrival and still huge smiles from the staff when we departed. Our room was spacious and clean and was perfect for our stay. The breakfast was absolutely delicious with fresh fruit and pastries along with a lovely cooked breakfast as well. We would definitely stay here again and can recommend it.

Beautiful boutique B&B, easy safe walking distance from town centre, but super quiet and tranquil. Staff were amazing, so friendly and helpful. Gorgeous breakfast, fresh fruit, continental plates of meat and cheese plus freshly baked pastries. Then cooked to order eggs etc. perfect way to start the day! Lovely quiet pool area with comfy loungers. Our room was a Superior King Suite and was lovely. Very spacious, nice touches of candles and diffusers, mini fridge and tea/coffee making facilities including milk provided. We will definitely be back, our favourite stay on our trip.

3 night stay. Room was ground floor to the side, access was through the garden gate, which was convenient as we did not have to go through the house (which was up a flight of stairs). Room was large with a separate seating area with TV, access to Netflix. Outside area with no sun. We did not use the pool which looked lovely and well kept. Lovely breakfast which was large if you ate all offered. Property is 10/15 minute walk into Franshhoek main street. Car was parked within the gates of the property. An excellent few nights.

A beautiful villa just on the outskirts of Franschoek. Our garden room was lovely and the pool was so appreciated after a very hot day on the wine team. Service was impeccable and the breakfast set us up for the day. I would recommend a car as although walkable to town we found it so useful for getting about and exploring.
