I recently stayed in the villa with my husband, our 2 young children and my in-laws. We had a wonderful time! Location was perfect, amenities were great and the staff were lovely. We would definitely stay again!

A WOW for us, fantastic accommodation, beautiful room, fabulous staff and the most amazing location. We have just finished our stay and I would like to thank our host and all of the staff for making our stay truly memorable for us. First step in South Africa for our family flying from France. A peaceful environnement, huge and confortable rooms, lovely breakfast, nice people. A nice starting point to discover the area.

A lovely place to stay. 5 minutes ride into town with peace and tranquility at the guest house. I’m not sure guest house is the correct choice. More like boutique hotel. Wonderful location in a vineyard with views to die for. Room was spacious with a huge bathroom with powerful walk in shower. Fridge in the room had everything from fresh milk to great wine and everything in between. Breakfast was lovely with plates of fresh fruit plus a selection of choices cooked to order. The reception provided us with details of a great taxi service which could run us into town and various restaurants which we had booked. We could set them up on WhatsApp and when ready a quick request and they collected us. Nice outdoor area to sit and read ,take in the views with a glass of wine. Good pool with sun beds and shades. A lovely place to stay and explore

Beautiful scenery and setting and the room (honeymoon suite) was divine. Very peaceful and stunning place to stay. It is, as we were well aware, further out from town so Uber/taxi is your main option, especially in evenings, it’s not really walkable. The breakfast was nice and tasty - the pool area / patio was fantastic. The only reason I did not award 5* is because the customer service / welcome / staff presence was the least warm / over the top compared to what we experienced across all the other places we stayed at over 3 weeks in SA. No issue at all, we just did not receive the same 5* service / welcome.

Lovely hotel in a vineyard and fruit orchard. Fantastic swimming pool. Excellent location close to downtown but not in downtown. I would have preferred a downstairs room so we could sit outside our room. We had to leave early and the graciously served us breakfast before normal hours

This is a super B&B on a working farm, with vineyards & orchard all around & wonderful mountain views. Breakfast is freshly cooked to individual order after a goodsized dish of luscious fruits, some grown on the spot. We loved having fresh milk for our tea/coffee tray. It's a little way out of town, so very quiet, and the Ubers are very efficient. Approx 35-40 mins walk to the wine tram terminal. The Huguenot Museum is worth visiting - don't miss the Perfume museum attached - you can't miss the Monument! Hussar restaurant needs booking but good steaks.

The most calming and wonderful place to stay if in Franschhoek. Just outside the town, but access everywhere easy and quick. Set in owners’ small farm with beautiful walks through vines, fruit and olive trees, it is a place of tranquility with the most stunning scenery all around. Dawn and sunsets were fabulous. So was the experience. Beautiful and comfortable room, fabulous breakfasts, and a complimentary bottle of their own wine, meant it was the perfect way to start and finish each day of exploring. Pool looked so inviting but will have to wait for slightly warmer weather!
